Islip SchoolWatch has not received any response from the letter sent to the District this July. The Letter we sent was informing them, incase they did not remember that they were informed back in December 2006 that All School District curriculum material (text books and non-consumable supplies) including calculators were to be supplied by the District. We have received many emails from concerned parents questioning the ethics, morals and values of the Islip School Board and Administration. We have been trying to schedule a meeting to discuss this issue. Unfortunatly, we have not been able to meet with anyone as of yet. We may now feel that News12 and LongIsland Press to name a few media outlets that are successful in issues like these might have a timelier response.
