As the primary elections are coming to an end, although Democrats are still having trouble deciding on a candidate, voters need to start looking at the issues with their brains and not through rose-colored glasses. There is a lot a rhetoric spewed forth by the candidates in every election and some it may actually make sense. However, to really understand what you are getting in a candidate you have to look beyond what they say and what they have done, you have to consider what they are currently capable of doing.
Voters need to overlook the contentious behavior of the many special interest groups as they try to make their oftentimes self-indulgent believes a major issue in an election year. The presidential election is to decide the leader of the United States and not who is going to support their individual, selfish interests.
Look at the issues that affect the entire country - not one state or one group - but everyone. Choose the candidate that will work to make the best decision that offers the best for the good of the entire country.
