Baby Boomers are starting to grow up and many aren't sure how to act as an adult. Well, that may be a little pushy, but the fact of the matter is when most of us who were born between 1946 and 1964 were growing up we decided we were not going to be denied the good things in life that our parents lacked due to the Great Depression and following World War II when they really started to live it up, memories of those times were still fresh in their minds.
As adults, we baby boomers decided to live for them. Now the time is approaching and not all of us are ready for retirement. Many of us can't afford to quit work and many others don't want to. Looking for other careers or ways to make additional income are high on our list of things to do when we retire.
For others, just staying healthy enough to enjoy retirement is the goal. Nutrition and health care are a major concern as wel continue to live longer than those that passed before us.
