I don't understand why anyone would want to post messages about their personal health or family concerns on the internet.

I want to post this note that I personally find Melanie, to be a very inspiring, encouraging person who leads God's words. Through the tragedy she went through, she stood up strong and remained coming through the days wiht a smile on her face, kind words to people, always singing God's praises. She did not give up, She stood up.............and in her silent way, said, I will follow you God, and lead the people around me to see that is the way it is meant to be, to follow our God and love him and keep our faith ever strong. Her and her daughters are a great gift to the church and blessing to see them leading a strong faith life and it does give off inspriation and encouragement to others who have seen them do this. We are lucky they are at our church!. Amy C.

I have this chance to post a public thank you to the Fredrickson's, who were the first to come us to me at the church when me and Brian came there. Jim was no stranger to quickly say, "get a sunday school class" and "would you like to help with this?". He has a over joyed heart that spills out and makes you just pick up on his spirit in the work he does and him and Ann quickly became a strong bond for both of us. We love them dearly, and I am so glad I have this chance to tell every one how much it meant to me to have them be so welcoming as if they had known me for ever. Those are the kind of Christians churches need! Amy C.

Some people do, others don't...I for one would rather my personal health issues be kept off of internet, but, some one who THINKS they are doing YOU a great service by broadcasting it to everyone usually ends up doing more harm than good....it happened to me this past summer, no big deal to me, but it (my health) got blown way out of proportion quickly.
Same thing w/ family issues...unless of course it's really note worthy..marriage, birth, birthday, graduation, etc. etc. On the other hand on line condolences are becoming more and more popular as a way to express yourself in a time of loss or tragedy.
The internet, whether WE except it or not, IS the new age phone call, letter writing, visiting information source....and forums like this allow us to communicate to many people at one time. I applaud Amy and Pastor Mitch for putting this together.

Regarding posting personal or health related information on the internet: I would view this as being very similar to talking about one's own issues or family issues. It is a personal decision, and however the person or family feels is what is best for his or their own situation. That must be respected. In the same vein, if someone has knowledge of another person or family's issues, that person needs to check before posting. It is just as wrong to write about someone else's private business as it is to talk about it. Even with all good intentions, it is very important to ask if the person or family is comfortable with having that information put out.
Gossip is gossip, and respect and sensitivity are always foremost.

A prayer for the Nordstroms and their family and friends with the passing of Virginia, especially for Carl. What a wonderful long life you both had together, a real gift. I love the story Virgina told me of your first date! I am glad she shared that with me. The few times she pulled me aside to tell me some special things I will treasure and she has no idea how much of an impact that made on me coming from her. I have been honored to have gotten to know her, she is a blessing, a gift, a treasure and no doubt beaming ear to ear in Heaven as I write this. She was not in my life long, but we became close quick and I will treasure every word she said to me in private and she was some one I needed to know and got the blessing to do so. Thank you God for allowing me to meet Virginia and for the special things she said to me. To Virginia..............I will se you again some day lovely lady, and I know you will meet me with that beautiful smile. Love you!

WORSHIP FROM THE HEART ACADEMY

I have experience in mixing live sound (sound tech), ( 18 ch. Yamaha mixer/ sound board, vocal effects rack, dual ch. EQ,)... also did maintence and repair on P.A equipment. I could be used as a sub or fill in as needed for both or late services....I am unsure whether this would fall under the media tech catagory that is posted at church or not.
