What kind of riding are you looking for? There are a few different groups that ride in this area. If you want to ride sometime just message back or send an email to rhess8@radford.edu. I'm pretty much always up for rides and can show you some of the places around Radford. Also there is usually someone riding on Saturdays mornings most of the time from the BP on Tyler.

If you want to do a 13 mile hill ride before the Radford Sunday Social ride, be ready to leave the Riverway lot @ intersection of Park Rd. & Sundell Dr. at 1:00 (don’t forget to set your clocks back). We will head up Wintergreen, out to Tyler, back Rock Rd to Lovely Mt. to back side of Wintergreen and return to park in time to meet the social ride at 2:00. Expect a pace of 14-16 for the hills but we will be riding a true social pace (12-13)at 2 and no one will be dropped. Group will select that route. Come with ideas.

Im new at Radford University and am looking for a good group ride. I am unfamiliar with the area and do not have a car. Can anyone help?

A NR Trail ride is planned for this evening – meeting at 6 PM at the Draper Elementary School, ¼ mile of exit 92. Bring a light. Can you make it?

A casual, 5:00PM ride today from the Train Station to the top of Little Walker Mountain and back today. No night lights needed. Meet in the parking lot across from the Train Station at 5'oclock. Can you make it?

How about a MONDAY evening Train Station road ride? Park across from the train station and be ready to ride at 6:00. Can you make it?

I have a nasty chest cold and cough. As much as I would love to ride this evening I guess I better not. Hopefully next time.

Jason has proposed a "Creeper Trail" ride on November 27th starting in Abingdon. It has been suggested to me for those who feel they cannot ride to the top that they meet in Damascus and catch a shuttle to White Top and meet the rest of us there for a refreshing 17 mile descent back to Damascus as a group.
Let us know if you are interested in that by posting to the Bulletin Board.

Regarding the Black Friday Ride I do realize it's a ways off and several will have plans being a holiday and all. Plus the weather will also determine if the ride takes place or not. So as of right now I seem to have several people that are interested in getting together for the ride. So if your interested mark it on your calendar and about a week out I will post info about the ride with the exact time and details.

The Black Friday Ride on the Creeper Trail sounds great, I am interested and can commit definitely a bit closer to the date. Keep us posted on the plans.
