Sam,
I'm glad the helmet did its job! I recommend letting a Dr. look at the shoulder for your best long-term recovery, psrticularly the internal damage.

Yesterday, Dave, Sam, Stephen and I were in Floyd Co., and some dogs came out. I probably overreacted, and Sam clipped my wheel and took quite a spill. Cracked helmet and sore shoulder, but Sam's spirit was still intact. Glad you are doing well, Sam.

Guys, thanks for your asst & concern. My shldr feels better, I can touch the area of damage /w less pain & move it in most directions without much pain. I probably have some specific deltoid muscle damage where it attaches to the outer edge of the socket (acromion). A couple of movements still create some rather exquisite pain, but I can move the shldr in all ranges by using the other hand & I have no pain at rest. Sorry to take so long giving you an update, I felt well enough to go out tonight.
Thanks for your concern, I 'll keep you posted.

I will not be able to ride today. I haven't been feeling overly well the past few days. I was hoping that I would be feeling better by now but I not.

The road from C'burg Pike, at the Floyd county line, across to Laurel Ridge Mill has been converted from dirt/gravel to chip/seal. That takes you to Rt 8, Alum ridge, & White Rocks. Is that over 50 miles from the BP?
Ther's also C'burg,Allegheny Spring, Daniel's Run over Pilot & back. We did that back in the spring, 45-50 I think.
I'll definetly be there if Dave is wearing his arm warmers.

We could get in 45 miles by starting at 9, and be back by noon. Help me out with a route that is around that distance...is there a C'burg, Pilot variation that fits the bill?

What time do plan on starting? If you can make it closer to 9 and not 8 I can ride. But do what every time works best for you guys.
