I've been thinking its too quiet in here as of late too. So why don't we talk about powers. A friend and I are putting together a comic (graphic novel). The premise being Satan (Leo) picks or preys on humans (depending on the situation, gives them powers in exchange for their souls, and thhey have to do his bidding with them. Well the powers themselves don't have to be "new" but if you have any ideas on how to use old powers in a new way that would rock. For example we have a character named Marco how will have the oldie but goodie ice. In his first use of the power he takes a drink of water and spits it into an icicle, into a mans throat. he then proceeds to freeze the man and shatters him. so yeah stuff like that.

Ok maybe "new" use wasn't even the best way to say it, more like macabre. any who sorry for the long ass post but yes lol any cool ideas? O_o

What about controlling air seth? Solidify it and crush or smack people around, take the air out of a persons lungs or make the lungs burst, etc. Also there's the flying, of course :)

My brother just got back too Athos, I kinda know how you feel. It's weird, I know he's back safe and sound and he's all uber excited about being home with the wifey and kids but he's different somehow. I doubt he'll be the same. If you need to talk to someone about your more than welcome to use me ^_^ text, email, here, doesn't matter to me :D

Hey All..

First let me apologize to sj-boi for kinda going off on him. Sorry man. Secondly, my reaction was more towards the crap that they went through before coming back to the states. Kyle, my lover, and his friends have been in the same group since boot camp back in 2000. This was to be their 4th ad last tour of duty.
They left back on may 31, and were fine for the first month, until Cody got his left calf scrambled and left buttock stabbed by a piece of shrapnel at the end of June. After trying to save his lower left leg for about 2 weeks, he lost that fight. But he is now recovering well, and his physical therapy is going strong.

However, at the beginning of august, Kyle and Keith were abducted while on a mission when their unit came under fire......after it was discovered two days later that another person on their base had given away their location, Brennan and the rest of their unit was able to locate where they were being held and rescue them.
Both Kyle and Keith had been tortured. Keith's left femur was pretty much shattered, and his anus was torn open. Kyle had several large internal tears and lacerations on his bowel, a large slice through his anal wall.

While they were rushed into surgery and some of the unit was being de-briefed Brennen was savagely beaten in one of the bathrooms on base. Two other personal were arrested after that incident, and what was found in their personal spaces was far worse then anything that had happened so far .
Hidden amongst their items were old tubes filed with partially dried blood and syringes, and a list of names....the marines and personnel considered gay.

I am sorry to have vented this all out to you guys, but i haven't really talked about things much with anyone since it all started, and i guess the cap just busted off.

Just know that they are now in protective custody, recovering from their wounds.

I'm really sorry to hear that about your lover Atos, I couldn't imagine going through that. I hope those fuckers get what they deserve. I will be praying for your lovers quick recovery.

It really makes me sad to hear stories like that. I'm really sorry to hear about everything happening to the people dear to you, Athos. I'll hold you guys in my prayers through these tough times.

You guys can talk about whatever you want in here. The Chosen is currently at the bottom of a lengthy update list, so don't expect another chapter for at least a month and a half. Others are out for blood so it's about time I update the other WIP's.

BTW those were some super,fantastic,awesome ideas on powers. Slick stuff. I'd love to actually read or see that.

Atos....Shit man...I don't even know what to say ....that is some serious crap going on....I hope all of them are ok....But most of all i hope you ok...I dont even want to think of something like that happenin to someone i love...

Atos - I am going to also say sorry about what has happened to your boyfriend and his unit, as well as the emotional stress you have now went through because of this. I am sure those who did evil deeds will be punished for their actions. You can always vent to us, well at least to myself, you may contact me at jaedite@gmail.com it's always open to you.

Seth - Magic is my forte. I will start with Spirit magic, enticing others to do what you want is only the beginning, depending on the level of magic the user is capable of, you can make people, creatures, etc. become encouraged or discouraged in a course of action, you can make them fall in love or hate someone, you can calm them or cause them to go insane. But what most people don't realize about the spirit magic is that it can drain people of their life force and kill them or fill them with more life force.
