Yes even the strongest mage can't use the full power of magic because they train and unless they live forever, so I think of magic as being within everyone, but many people cannot access the most powerful, those are the six basics pyth.

Then we get into Ice, Lightning, Smoke, Magma.
From there you go into Holy and Darkness

And the final element which is Anti.

Dreamer thanks for the magic idea,I actually have a character with eachone of those powers n_n. As for what Inspires me if we go off of what inspires me for SinWish it would be
Movie: Sin city, Kill bill (any Tarantino film really)
Books: The bible, Death note, Good omens, Fear and Trembling, 1984 and a lot more
Tv shows: Fullmetal Alchemist, Dead like me, Dexter

and of cousre there's a lot more of all of them Just really don't want to rite them all out.

Just read the first part of your trilogy straight through. Loved it. Especially all the scifi references, I regularly feel like Chad when I'm talking to others. His quirky style was also refreshing and reminiscent. I'll be reading the next book this coming weekend, looking forward to it. Keep up the great work.

Sorry its been so silent. When I get dedicated to something I tend to blank out on other stuff, which is totally a bad habit to have. I'm still working on the handful of other WIP's I have going, so the Chosen is still at the veeery bottom of a lengthy list. Nothing More Awesome Than This is the next original work to be updated, then after that are the fanfics that I write. I don't know if you guys are into that sort of thing.

Yes Glee is a guilty pleasure. I was watching the original V miniseries/season over the weekend, in prep of the upcoming remake. Doing thy research is most important. I had no idea how popular it was when it aired, there are a lot of facets to it that you see in current shows.

Yay more Nothing More Awesome Than This! Damn thats a mouthfull. I'm going to call it NMATT, or The Avengers (i absolutely loved that 'AVENGERS ASSEMBLE!' bit :D).

Yeah NMATT is so far my favorite original work. Simply because it's like a strike back at how gross a majority of Nifty stories are.

Well as far as fanfic goes I mainly stick to good old Harry Potter then I branch out from there, like crossovers with the Dresden Files or the Ultimates.
