fished for pike sunday 8th march only had the one but a nice 20lb 2oz pike she was. day was ok till 3 car loads of foreign fish nickers arrived..

So youre the one who had the pike, heard rumours didnt believe it, didnt no there was anyfing that big left in the lakes LOL!

to keep members up to date on catches..saturday pike caught approx.8lb swim 21...sunday pike 14lb..swim 24...swim 4..small tench....swim 6..20lb carp+small tench....very quiet on back lake.ps i'm NOT catching these fish

where are all the catch reports..are there no fish being caught..
ok this is wot ive heard..neil ward(friday) 18,20 23 lb carp. back lake.....
andrew english(friday/saturday) 10 tench,biggest 7lb.8 ozs,2 carp... greg hamshire..15lb.pike on pellet,23lb.carp+ another, also tench..there were 11 members fishing overnight on friday/sat.most seem to have caught something.

Got over back lake at 4:30am, fished peg 14, i had tench after tench after tench! i caught 15 tench, the majority just under a pound, biggest was 2lb 3oz. I also had lots of perch and some decent rudd and roach. I put all the fish i caught in my keepnet and when i weighed in, my total was 16lb 4oz! briliant day!!! Just a shame i fell in the lake when i was packing up :( LOL

same swim, same tactics, same bait... not a sniff. i dont understand LOL

me ryan, gary maskall went for the night friday gary had 1 tench, ryan had a carp and plenty of stuff on the float, i had 3 bream smallest 5lb to 6lb 7onz 2 tench and a nice mirror
but got a call from jack elliot and his mate curtis had a 25lb common in swim 15 just of the island.

keith allaway caught lovely tench in 5 ,thought it would beat record,weighed using my digiscales,weight 7lb.15ozs unfortunately weighing net weighed 15ozs. maybe next year if caught in spawn should go well over 8 lb.

I done 24hr session on front lake had a nice 22lb2oz common about 04.30 sunday 30/08/09 witnessed by Dan Winston.
