At the first part of the year I thought everyone got them? Am I wrong? I understood if you use them and quit or retire you have to pay them back???

To get donated annual leave, you must first use all your sick and annual. I never heard of advanced sick leave with the new year...??? Just the form 1221 for up to 30 days.

postallady4u /m12399, National VER Authority just means that the USPS asked OPM for the authority to offer early outs. The USPS does not have the authority to offer them without going through OPM because we are federal employees.. |

Here are my pictures of my patriotic mail box I built. I was cleaning out my storage building and getting together some yard sale items and did not want to just throw these away so I painted them and made a mailbox. Hope you guys like it!

/m12382 I think it is certain times you can donate time to each other. You will get some more sick time at the first of the year in advance for next year also and you will be about 5-6 months along then.

You can get donated annual leave from other carriers. I don't know the forms needed to fill out.

At our office they made an announcement that from now on it would be very difficult (though not impossible) to get an advance on sick leave
