Add WAPostalGal to the "losing touch with reality" list. I did notice that they are both females. A connection there? One wonders........

/m12382 It's called advanced sick leave. You can borrow up to 30 days. I believe it's form 1221. Also fill out FMLA paperwork ro keep them from harrassing you.

/m12382....Congrats on the baby!!! I think they did in the past. But times have changed, you should ask HR. They can give a better answer. Or go to liteblue.com to find out.

OMG!! We also got those ugly HUGE Cabella Catalogs in the cardboard box. We had a boatload of mail. After having virtually none for the past month and a half or two, they made up for it today. We had every damn standard magazine known to man. PM had to work today because two clerks are off, and she held back the catalogs and alot of standard mail. There is already 45" or so of flats for Monday + all those Cabellas. Did have 4 tubs of standard flats today, two tubs filled with Costco coupon books, the taller ones that they ran in DPS during count of course, 60" of flats, and 9 stuffed trays of dps. it was a helacious day, and now I'm glad it's over so I can enjoy my broken 3 day weekend.

Supersub is obviously delusional. We all know that mail volume is waaaay down. Management said it is, so it must be true. We all know they don't lie.

When taking off sick, does anyone know if management must treat it as FMLA prior to documentation? I was called in for pre-D on sick leave, after I told PM the week before that I gave the doctor FMLA paperwork. Most of the leave was for arthritis in my legs, the reason for the FMLA.
I was also called in for 2080 problems, even though PM knew I would be off at least 2 months for surgery. He tried to get me to change from J to K... I don't know if he was just trying to steal my free Saturdays when I'm off or what....
I use to think management jobs required a lobotomy, but now I think they also receive novacine in the heart......

^*^*^ Not sure who your POOM is in your area but did they send down a "blanket policy" and move back the start times across the board in your office? We have well over 80% of our mail at 6:00, well before our old start times, and they screwed with us anyway. Regardless of if you're an overburdened 48K or a measly H route we all got the same treatment. What retard thinks this is going to work when the mail picks up in the fall. HAHAHA I hope the clerks like the OT they "aren't supposed to get" when they ar waiting for dispatch during Christmas time. Our POOM Barry is a shit for brains suckup who is supposedly retiring Nov 8th. Maybe if we are lucky he'll take a VER and peace out sooner.
