Building & Grounds Message Board

If you can attend to something yourself, please do so. It's "OUR" space! But if you cannot, do not assume that anybody else knows about it. Please list anything / everything you know about that needs attention -- big or small.

Doug - Please call me about shelving in the kitchen. I do not think that the fiber board shelving we discussed will meet our weight requirements. In my experience, the will bow under even book weight. Please call me about options.

Sink hole next to window well needs attention.
1. What caused it?
2. How to fix it?
3. How to make it safe (so people don't fall in!)

Our 2nd phone line is not working: 854-2305. Verizon says the line is live to the house. If you call it, it goes directly into voice mail. You can't get a dial tone inside the house and the phone light system says it's busy.

1) One ceiling light is out in the nave and one out in the fellowship hall.

2) I've replaced all 4 bulbs in the Parish House parking lot with long-life bulbs.

3) We need to replace the cover in the northern most parklin lot light.

Rick,

When the door was replaced, I think that the opener may be attached to the door in the Parish House Basement or in the Storage Closet in the Parish Hall Basement.

Ferrell - You can not use SOS pads on the pews, it will take off the paint. Kendalls has Super Eraser Cleaning Pads 2 for a $1.00. These should remove all marks on the pews and nealers.

Kitchen - You need one person to clean refrigerator. You need one person who is familiar with commercial gas stoves to clean the viking stove.
One or Two people can wipe down cabinets inside & out and counters.

I hope that this helps.

Dear friends,

If you see something that needs attention, let us know. Don't assume that anyone else has noticed.

By the way, we're all in this together. So if you see something that you can resolve yourself, go ahead, for the Glory of God and the good of the St Marks Community. And thanks to you!

Otherwise, please post it here.

Thanks!
