I live in Manchester, Massachusetts and spent my childhood summers on Crystal Lake - my grandparents - Howard & Bertha (Smith) Morgan owned a home on Bennett's Point. The Winslows and the Calls are family names that I can remember. There were also the Ray Smith family that owned a cottage, I believe, in Crystal Acres. I am looking for anyone else who may have lived on that part of the lake in the sixty's and seventies. Our cottage was sold in the late 80's/early 90's to a family, I think, from Pennsylvania. I am also looking to find a place to stay and visit for a few days.

greetings.. I visited Crystal Lake sat and wow what memories came back I first went there to my grandparents camp in 1957 and later the last time i was there was when my grandfather built the house up across from the beach in the early 60's .... I went to the beach named after my grandfather and I would like to get in contact with some one from the lake assocation to see about upgrading the beach sign and to send a yearly contribution for maintenance and upgrades to the beach. If anyone can send me in the right direction it would sure be helpful. talk to you all later

Morning, my name is Tim Cofran - not sure if Crystal Lake has an association but this email is intended for such a group -I am a member of the Loon Pond Owner’s Association in Gilmanton - our group, in partnership with the Harvey Lake Watershed Association, received a grant last year from NEGEF - This grant enabled us to purchase water testing equipment for our respective lakes. We can now do our testing at our convenience. Because your lake is so close to ours we were wondering if you would be interested in borrowing our equipment to do your testing. You would still have to transport the samples to Concord but you would not have to travel so far as to get the testing material. The equipment we have is
 Kemmerer water sampler
 Fieldmaster Aquavues
 Oxygen Meter
 Sounding Line
 Secchi Disk
 Depth Finder
 Split Messenger
 Shock Absorber
 Retrieval Reel

The state recommends we continue to use their water bottles and they will mail them prior to sampling. These must be physically brought back to DES

There are no charges for this equipment - the only requirement is you would sign an agreement that states you are responsible for any repairs or lost equipment. Any questions feel free to contact me.

My family spent several summers at the Dimock's cabins on Crystal Lake. We heard that the cabins were sold after Mr. and Mrs. Dimock passed away and that condos might have been built in their place. We'd like to return to the area next summer. Can anyone tell me if the cottages are still there and if not, what's been built in their place? We'd like to find a "rustic," charming cottage that would accommodate 8-10. Thanks in advance for helping us reconnect with wonderful memories.

Thank you! You know, i finally found an address for a person named Robert Marshall...Marshall cottages Inc. I mailed a letter (asking some questions) over 2 weeks ago but no one replied. I think his address was in Tilton, NH. I guess he is the owner. I will call the telephone number and see what i can find out. thank you again.
