Tip of the Week
To send an attachment in Email:

1 Open Email and left click "Write Message"
2 At the top of the window that opens, left click on "Attach File"
3 The default place it looks is usually "My Documents" listed in the top box. if your file is there, it will be listed in the larger lower box. If not you will have to go to the place it is in.
4 Select the file in the lower box by left clicking on it. Click OK to accept the file.
5 The Attach File Box Closes and a new box appears on the original 'Write Message" window beneath the subject "Subject" box. The new box is called "Attachments" and it shows the file you have attached.
6 Fill out the "From and To and Subject" information and write a note in the large box on the form at the bottom. The note should say "See Attachment for manuscript file" or something similar.

Tip of the Week
Arrange windows on your desktop
You can display any two windows side by side on the desktop by first clicking a window's button on the Taskbar. Next, press and hold the Ctrl key and right-click the second window that you want to open, then click Tile Vertically. This works great when you want to view two Microsoft Word or Microsoft Internet Explorer windows at the same time.

Tip of the Week:
Renaming Multiple Files with Windows Explorer
1. Open Windows Explorer. To do so, click Start, point to All Programs, point to Accessories, and then click Windows Explorer.
2. Select multiple files in a folder. To do so, press and hold down the CTRL key while you are clicking files.
3. After you select the files, press F2 or right click and select rename in the dropdown box.
4. Type the new name and file extension, then press ENTER.

NOTE: When you complete the preceding steps, the highlighted state of all files except one disappears, so it may appear as if you are only renaming one file. However, after you press ENTER, all of the files are renamed. When you rename multiple files, all of the renamed files have the same name with a number in parentheses appended to the name to make the new file name unique. For example, if you type “Summer Vacation” as the new name, the first file is named “Summer Vacation”. All of the remaining selected files are named “Summer Vacation (x)”, where x is a unique number, starting with (1).

Tip of the Week: Highlighting Multiple Pages
When you attempt to highlight multiple pages the highlighted area sometimes rolls down through the pages to the end of the document. To prevent this - Put the cursor where you want to start highlighting and left click, Press down on the SHIFT key and then highlight by using the DOWN ARROW key.
This allows you to control only what is to be highlighted.

This may be a good place to swap websites. The weekly Delaware Co. paper is here. It comes out on Thursdays.
