               Sir/Madam, Vidya Vikasa Trust was established in January 2002. The Trust is registered as a Charitable Trust is basically striving hard for a commitment to the cause of the education of the economically weaker sections of students' community particularly for Blind Students Education by Providing Financial Assistance in various Forms with the help of Public Donations.
 
           Sir/Madam, While visually impaired Student will complete his / her education with Donor's Financial Assistance, the Donor in India gets Income-Tax exemptions benefits under 80(G) of Income-Tax Act 1961 The Interest realized is being utilised for ECONOMICALLY BACKWARD MERITORIOUS BLIND STUDENTS by providing financial Assistance in addition to (a) Tape Recorders, (b) Detecting Walking Sticks,
                               
                Due to pressure created by the section of Blind Students Trust formulated a Project/scheme under the Title "Literacy Mission for Blind & awareness of Educational Support". Under this scheme Trust will take care of the services of Blind Student by providing Scholarships / financial Assistance , Tape Reorders, Brail watches, Brail literature in the form of cassettes, computers, food to needy, medicines, kits, uniforms and other social welfare activities for the visually impaired students. The Trust has started to award SCHOLARSHIPS to BLIND STUDENTS not only during 2004-2005 but also during 2005-2006 & 2006-07, 2007-08,2008-09. So far the Trust has awarded 141 visually impaired Students of both Rural Urban areas. In the past 4 years from 2004-05 the scholarship benefit was utilised by the Visually impaired students from (1) Shree Raman Maharishi Academy for The Blind (2) The National Association For The Blind, Karnataka Branch (3) Samarthan Trust for the Disabled (4) Sri Rakum School for the blind,(5)Karnataka Asson., for Blind.
           
                  Sir/Madam, A Scholarship Distribution Committee will be formed every Year Under the Chairmanship of an Retired Accounts Officer preferably from Accountant General's Office (Central Government) & he/she will be assisted by the Members from Donors coming under Category A & B. The decision taken by this committee will be final. The details how Blind Students are benefited so far from the Trust are as follows:
