sanipeyarchi festival at Erikuppam Yandrasaneeswarar Temple Near Arni, Tamilnadu

The trustees welcome all devotees to Erikuppam Saneeswarar Koil on 5th August 2007(according to trikanitha panchang which is followed in all temples) in connection with the transit of Saturn from Kadaka to Simma Rasi at 12.19 PM and take part in Puja parikarams /abhishekams, homams, Sani dosha nivarthi pujas, special archanas etc and also request you to participate in temple construction activities which is planned in a big way to popularize this age old temple. The directions for reaching the temple are given elsewhere in this site. It is just 130 kms away from Chennai.
The temple belongs to 1500 Years and devotees are swelling up every day. The temple is also coming up nicely and plans are there to build a shiva temple as well in the long run following agamas. Lot of swamijis, mutt chiefs, Divine astrologers and VIPs visit the shrine all the time. The trustees expect nearly 1.5 lakh devotees during the sani peyarchi day. Lodging /Boarding accommodation are available at Arni. Trustees have made elaborate arrangements towards ANNADHAN, stay /accommodation , traffic , water, sanitation etc for the forth coming important event . The trustees solicit members of this group to act as volunteers and also request each one's cooperation to make this function a success for Mankind.

My Basic Objectives to develop this Website are :-

This website is first step towards converting our dream in to reality.

The dream : Convert our country into a developed country by 2050.
            Make our country with best democracy in the world.

Objectives :
  - This website will act as a platform to educate all Indians &
    NRI’s about all aspects of this object and build a common
    understanding between them about our national goals & objectives.

  - Website will provide a common platform to all Indian Citizens & NRI’s
    where they will provide us their valuable input & feedback on
    different listed subjects. They can also tell us to add subject.

  - When we will start interacting with public regularly, they will come
    in touch with us. Then we will educate them to group under the banner
    of a citizen organization and volunteer for national cause. If we
    succeed to form a organization that will be next step towards
    implementation of ideas. This projected organization will boost
    development activities in respective areas, act as a watchdog on govt.
    expenditure, will fine tune the working of govt. machinery.
 
  - Website will work to bring together other local NGO’s, organizations
    working in specific areas. Work to promote their cause. We will also
    provide them men power after suggested citizen organization is formed.

  - Website will list the outstanding personalities from public life from
    India & abroad, who can be a part of national think tank. This think
    tank will define basic national goals / policies. And citizen
    volunteers will see their implementation.

  - Since I am from Ludhiana ( Punjab ). Ludhiana is a big industrial
    city. It is facing a number of problems. We will initially target
    development of Ludhiana Distt. Only. Ludhiana Distt will made a model
    of development. Success here will be replicated all over rest of
    Punjab & then to rest of India .

  - Work for the development of a national software p-governance (i.e.
    public governance) which will be provided to the suggested citizen
    organization. This will make govt. machinery responsible & answerable
    to law abiding citizens. Once these systems are established it will
    change their working style completely as they will be under regular
    monitoring of public.

     concept to Develop Ludhiana District into a Modal District of future.

     Ludhiana is a industrial hub of India . This Manchester of Punjab is
     lacking even basic civil infrastructure & facilities. It is
     surrounded by villages. So we have to think & develop a concept of a
     future city. Based on which development of Ludhiana should be based.
     What infrastructure is needed here to promote industry & agriculture.
     Develop system so that NRI’s can also be a part of this development
     process.

The Trust is registered as a Charitable Trust is basically striving hard for a commitment to the cause of the education of the economically weaker sections of students' community particularly for Blind Students Education by Providing Financial Assistance in various Forms with the help of Public Donations.
 
           Sir/Madam, While visually impaired Student will complete his / her education with Donor's Financial Assistance, the Donor in India gets Income-Tax exemptions benefits under 80(G) of Income-Tax Act 1961 The Interest realized is being utilised for ECONOMICALLY BACKWARD MERITORIOUS BLIND STUDENTS by providing financial Assistance in addition to (a) Tape Recorders, (b) Detecting Walking Sticks,
                               
                Due to pressure created by the section of Blind Students Trust formulated a Project/scheme under the Title "Literacy Mission for Blind & awareness of Educational Support". Under this scheme Trust will take care of the services of Blind Student by providing Scholarships / financial Assistance , Tape Reorders, Brail watches, Brail literature in the form of cassettes, computers, food to needy, medicines, kits, uniforms and other social welfare activities for the visually impaired students. The Trust has started to award SCHOLARSHIPS to BLIND STUDENTS not only during 2004-2005 but also during 2005-2006 & 2006-07, 2007-08,2008-09. So far the Trust has awarded 141 visually impaired Students of both Rural Urban areas. In the past 4 years from 2004-05 the scholarship benefit was utilised by the Visually impaired students from (1) Shree Raman Maharishi Academy for The Blind (2) The National Association For The Blind, Karnataka Branch (3) Samarthan Trust for the Disabled (4) Sri Rakum School for the blind,(5)Karnataka Asson., for Blind.
           
                  Sir/Madam, A Scholarship Distribution Committee will be formed every Year Under the Chairmanship of an Retired Accounts Officer preferably from Accountant General's Office (Central Government) & he/she will be assisted by the Members from Donors coming under Category A & B. The decision taken by this committee will be final. The details how Blind Students are benefited so far from the Trust are as follows:
