I am a photographer from the Amesbury News.
We are doing a profile video piece on someone from Amesbury who is running the marathon. In the piece we are asking why are you running and will document your ritual of running. Has anyone heard of the "Maudslay Dirty DuEarthlon" on 4/26? Course is 2.5 mile Trail Run/5 mile Mt. Bike/2.5 Trail Run. Individual or as a team (2-3 people)

Saw it in the Active email. Curious who's putting it on and if anyone doing it.

The love fest at Maudsley in honor of Paula Holm was so beautiful.....Imagine to be as loved as she was....that is a rare gift....Stella, you did yourself and Paula proud.....

Hey kids!! I heard through the grape-vine that a decision was made as to who will receive the club numbers for the mountain, but have yet to receive any official notification... what needs to be done to complete the registration process at this point? In the old days a separate application was needed...I'd have a few beers w/Tom Manning & it was a done deal...now I'm a Mainer & don't get to the Circle as much...guessing an additional online registration is possible...do they simply use the information already on file from the lottery? Anyone? Derek?

Looking for a race for your spring schedule. Please consider the Kennenbunk Beach 5 mile on May 3rd The race director is WCRC member Rob Spaulding from Kennebunk. Rob joined last year and ran his first millcities for the club and is on our usatfne team roster.
Last years race had 450 runners.Got a month to think about it.

It was great to see my WCRC friends again (and to meet the new generation of Circle Jerks) at the 4 Miler and at Paula's memorial. It's been long overdue. Webber and most of the Exeter crew -- where the hell were you?

Paula-you were very special-and thanks for the last gift of bringing me together with the club.

   I have a bit of a problem. I've entered and paid for two relay teams in the Burlington VT Marathon. One team is our usual family and friends (FOG). The other was entered for the Triton Cross Country kids. Unfortunetly Triton discovered they had "CALs" meets that week end. This leaves me with one full team and one going to be 9th grade kid that was running with Triton. We need a minimum of two more runners for three person relay or a Max of 4 runners for a 5 person marathon relay. I'm not charging for the entry fee I just want the kid to run and see the relay slot used. It's an open relay slot any age or sex but I need names, addresses and DOB in by the end of this month. You know anyone? SUNDAY BURLINGTON VT MAY 24, 2009 starting time 8 AM. If you know a couple to 4 runners interested email me their info and I'll send it right in. Otherwise I have to drop the slot. Thanks for any help.
