Does anyone know if the US Post Office had problems with the latest issue of the Runner's Rag that was assembled at the last Club meeting? Carol said they were prepared for mailing but neither I (in Newton, NH), MJ in Haverhill, MA, or Paul in Plaistow has received one yet. I am looking forward to Ken Tripp's opus. Has anyone gotten a Rag who wasn't at the mailing to get theirs hand-delivered to them?
Dale Bob  9
11-19-2006 04:27 PM ET (US)
I have not received the Rag yet. Was it mailed?
Linda Long  10
11-19-2006 05:14 PM ET (US)
I received the Rag last week, and that was after it was forwarded from my old address in NH.
Lisa  11
11-19-2006 06:51 PM ET (US)
I have not received a runners rag for at least 8-9 months - possibly longer (maybe February 2006????).
Leslie  12
11-19-2006 07:03 PM ET (US)
Linda, Was it realy the Rag or just the package of entry forms and Christmas party announcement? I got that package but not the newsletter.
Ken Tripp  13
11-19-2006 08:37 PM ET (US)
The last I had heard, the rag was put together for mailing at the meeting, but wasn't sent out with the applications because of there was not enough stamps. However, I was told it was going to be sent out mid last week, so if you haven't got it yet, I hope you get it soon. If you haven't got one within the next week , please send me a message at ktripp@sepracor.com and I will send one to you.

The last rag went out in May, so it's been a while. I apologize for that, but I did put a lot into this last issue and I hope everyone likes it. I think Leslie lied to me when she said how much goes into the rag. I may have been duped. :) (it doesn't matter because I enjoy doing it) I already have stuff for the next rag; however, I am always looking for stories.
Leslie  14
11-20-2006 07:40 AM ET (US)
The Circle could save lots of money that's being spent on postage if the Rag were linked to the home page and people could read it on line and print it out if they wanted to. The number of hard copies being mailed would be significantly reduced. Members could choose to remove themselves from the mailing list if they planned to view the Rag on line.

Okay, Ken, I admit I understated the time required to publish the Rag. Haven't you ever sold a used car without disclosing allthe negatives? : )
Ken Tripp  15
11-20-2006 08:58 AM ET (US)
Changing the distribution policy of the rag will have to be something that will be discussed at future board meetings. But you are right, between the cost of copying and mailing, an electronic link could save some $$$. The major problem would be that not everyone has computer access. Definitely something to think about though?

Did you like the last version of the rag? (if you got it?)
Ken Tripp  16
11-20-2006 10:11 AM ET (US)
Is the Garmin 301 new or used? What is the reason for selling it?
Tom Miller  17
11-20-2006 11:09 AM ET (US)
I have it on "good authority" that the rag wasn't mailed until Saturday 11/18, so be patient. You should have it to read while digesting your turkey.
Leslie  18
11-20-2006 04:54 PM ET (US)
Patience is a virtue! I got my Rag in today's mail and love the new look, the pics, and stories. Great job, Ken, and thanks for the note of thanks directed at me.

The Garmin 301 is used but is as good as new (all the stuff in the original box). I upgraded to a pricier model that works better in the woods. Of course, this time of year, both would work quite well in the woods because the leaves are down. My new one cost $350, so my old one at $100 is a real bargain. No chance that I'll give it as a Yankee Swap gift. Nice try, Kristen. : )

11-20-2006 07:12 PM ET (US)
You definitely deserve the thank you for your contribution to the rag. As I said, it's overdue.

Thanks for the info on the Garmin. I already have a 201 and 301. I was asking for a friend and I'll let you know if he's interested. How's do you like the new one. I also do a lot of trails and that is my main complaint for the 301.
Leslie  20
11-21-2006 08:02 AM ET (US)
I do a lot of trail running with my dog. I never get a weak signal with my 305. It's quite reliable. The 301 is good for someone who runs mainly on the roads.

The 305 has been working extremly well for me in the woods and while running on some pretty foggy mornings. I have talked to many who used them during the Reach the Beach Relay and found them to be very accurate. Works well downloading to Google Earth Plus and Motion Based mapping. Runners Alley gives WCRC members a 10% discount, so would be 10% off the $350. price :) I am looking forward to using it on the back country XC trails this winter.

LOCO is directing a new half-marathon in April 2007, for more more details> http://www.locorunning.com/greathalf.php . Exeter Hospital has already signed on as lead sponsor. It is a beautiful course and we're looking to drum up early buzz (and input) for the event. Soooooooo, we're pulling together an informal "course preview" run this Sunday, November 26th. We'll be meeting at Newmarket High School at 8:30AM. There will also be a 9-miler group for those who aren't up for the full 13.1. The current forecast for Sunday looks great! Please join us.

I am planning to GPS the run to download the course for others to view. Please contact me or the LOCO guys if you have any questions or need directions.

It would be great to get the Rag online. In the NSC bike club we post the newsletter to the website where you can download it or read it online. The file is a PDF format whih can anyone on any operating system can read. There is software which you can the publisher file into PDF file format without loosing any effect of the original.

Also, I will be doing a special training program for thr Great Bay Half Marathon, Presented by Exeter Hospital. Detail will be posted latter this week on the loco running website and Exeter Hospital.
You all have a good Thanksgiving!

Not to be critical, and this may be stating the obvious BUT- a lot of time and work goes into many club functions-directing, mailing, writing, and web maintenance( this site has to be screened by someone-thanks Dave). We're all getting busier and busier and busier--say that's what's happened to my training, damn life gets in the way. AND the WCRC has no fees So... mistakes are gonna happen.
We are getting more and more volunteers for mailings which is good, but if more people stepped up and helped out it would be even better. And one of the best ways to help the club is to tell people all the great things we do for the running community-esp. young runners. Remind people esp. the IAAMs(sic. Camire-It IS All About ME types) that the running world is about giving back to the sport. Supporting the sport at all levels-youth, H.S.-as Well as open-track, as well as distance running.

What an event the turkey trot is....hundreds of runners, joggahs, baby strollers, pukers, running pilgrims and human turkeys.
Louiseee Rossetti took many a scalp, out kicking the likes of many an athlete-AND she didn't have a number.
Only down note was Mr. Maine Randall couldn't make it having had surgery.

John - Idly sitting here on a Saturday morning, I looked back at coolrunning records for t-day trot and yes it is a record number of runners. Interestingly enough the times have not changed dramatically. Mr Wile may have the details on pre-1996 times but it looks like 16:08 is the record time. 2000-Eric Burgess and 1996-Craig Watcke.

On another note, the course was definately a faster course 10 years ago, especially the middle section after trav's memorial. There was a lot more hard packed soil before all the wood chips were added. I remember Watcke and I dueling it out that year and the course was a good 10-15 seconds faster than it is today.

Anyway here is the chronolology

Year # time
2006 884 16:09
2005 695 16:25
2004 644 16:38
2003 755 16:14
2002 600 17:25 (SNOW)
2001 749 16:37
2000 570 16:08 (Eric Burgess)
1999 562 16:17
1998 481 16:39
1997 352 17:21 (Ice)
1996 300 16:08 (Craig Watcke)
1995 184 16:30

Mr Wile - do you have the stats on pre-1995? It would make for a cool history of the race that we could keep up to date on the web site.
JWebb  34
11-25-2006 04:41 PM ET (US)
Yes the course was faster before wood chips, the stone gravel hill and horses. But we have haven't helped matters by getting older and slower. I've done all 17,injured or not. This race is the only streak I have. Were you there for the first one in 1990? Gary Passler has run them all as well injured or not. Maybe Don Hennigar? Anyone else?
Don Hennigar  35
11-25-2006 05:13 PM ET (US)
Yes, Webber, I have run them all on Thanksgiving. The course must get longer each year- can't think of any other reason why our times get slower. Ted Jones has done them all also I think.

I will be getting the numbers from Manning and will probably be at the December meeting with more. Thank you all once again!! Happy Holidays.

If any of you women runners have any running shoes-preferably racing and/or cross-country flats- that you aren't using or are discarding, I could put them to use with my indoor team. great job again Vicki and Chris(we missed ya) at MCR
race went well, good times had by all.
WC members and board members work very hard on this:
Dave Camire the brains and director of it all. without him never would have lasted in the very healthy state
Labrode does much of the grunt work-marking course etc.
Sharon is the under-appreciated keeper of the minutes and treasurer.
we'll get 'em next year (I was told by a reliable source that if MVS didn't win this year, they were gonna pack it in and not even try to be competitive)

I'd like to second Mike's sentiments. So many people put a lot of hard work into this event and every WCRC event and they deserved to be thanked and recognized. I can't imagine how difficult it is to organize this race through all the different towns and as far as I can tell, it all goes off seamlessly. Excellent job.

It was also great to see all the WCRC members out in force. Running is generally an individual sport and this is one time where we are a team. Congratulation to all who participated.

A BIG thank you to everyone who contributed to yesterday’s Santa’s Toy Trot. We had a record number of entrants (300) and I would guess a record number of toys donated. This was my first experience directing a Circle race and all the help I got made the day very enjoyable. It was like having one of those "easy buttons" from Staples. I want to thank everyone who contributed to the success of the event. Thanks to Carol who seemed to be everywhere, Timmy and Amy who help with shirts and hall setup, Tom and Vicki for doing a terrific job with the course, Kristen and Brian for successfully feeding 300 very hungry people, Mike for running a very efficient finish line, Pam for computer and finish line duties, Ken for pre-registration work, Stan for finish line and registration, Cathy for registration, Cat for helping serve refreshments, Gary for guiding folks to the correct finish chute, Prez John for pre/post race help, Dave L for marking the course and MC’ing the awards ceremony, Ted J for driving the lead vehicle, Ted W for his moral support and for being there. We also had help from Joe Agneta from MVS at the finish and Glenn Stewart from GLRR at registration and the finish. Most of all I want to thank Bob Randall and Sharon Yu for all their efforts this year and for past years. Bob secured the school, coordinated with the police and got the bulk of the sponsorship. Not bad for a guy laid up after major surgery. Sharon, although she wanted to take the year off, ended up being co-director. She managed the pre-registration, fielded calls, managed the money and helped keep the operation running very smoothly. I apologize if I missed anyone. There were so many folks helping it was tough to keep track of everyone. You all can take satisfaction in knowing you made a child's Christmas merrier.

The 26th Annual New Years Day Classic (a.k.a. Hangover Classic) 10K and 5K Road Races will be run at 11:00 AM on Monday, January 1, 2007. Great location at Salisbury Beach!!! Optional Ocean Plunge!!! Cash and merchandise awards, long sleeve tee-shirts, classic mugs, and post-race party. Race day registration, post-race awards and the not-to-be-missed post-race party all at Bevy B’s. Participate in "A New Years Day Tradition". Organized by WCRC. Visit the WCRC website for more information and for on-line registration.

As you all know, the “Hangover” is a major event for WCRC: 3 events (5k, 10k, and ocean plunge), lots of runners/plungers, lots of fun, but also a lot to do on race day. If you anticipate being too hungover to run, please consider helping out on race day. FREE HANGOVER CLASSIC SWEATSHIRTS (a HOT item last year) will be given to all volunteers who can show up at 9AM on race day to help out. If you can help, please email Bob Manning at cmanning55@comcast.net and let him know in advance (we don’t want him to be a scrooge from worry during the holidays).

OK it is 2007! Regular non-running folk always subscribe to the ritual of resolutions. Surely there are runners out there that have set goals for 2007. I'll start....I am hoping to get back under 4:30 for the mile. Might be a pipe dream but I would be thrilled if I could run under 4:30 after turning 40 this September.

Also, congrats to Circle distance guy Ken Tripp who ran his first mile race. Ken and I went up to the Millenium Mile up in Londonderry on Dec 31st. Ken now has an appreciation of the pre-race jitters associated with running a mile event. Hopefully he has been bitten by the bug!

The millenium mile was a lot of fun and anyone looking for a super fast mile should put this on your racing schedule. Chris failed to mention in his last post that he ran 4:21, a new PR for him in the mile; I then finished over 21 second behind him - a PR for me, but it's the first mile race I've ever done.

As for 2007 goals, I do hope to add a little speed to my running. Mainly, I'd like to hit 16:30 for the 5K and then go back to some longer races and hit 1:15 to 1:16 for the 1/2 marathon and then maybe even reenter the marathon world and try to get into the mid 2:40s. Also hoping to hit 1:13 to 1:14 at the Mountain. On paper, it sounds so easy, but... Another goal is to get a little lighter, i.e. lose weight. I don't think that I'm fat, but when ever I see pictures of myself with other runners, I look so much wider.

I will run the millenium mile again and maybe even High Street. The mile is a strange event if you've never run on before. I think it was the 3/4 mark that I finally realized that I needed to run harder because the race was basically over. As for catching the bug... I did get diagnosed with Strep thoat on January 1, so I caught something...

Received this question from Coach Abu @ Governer Dummer regarding our annual XC meet against GDA.

**********
On which day would we draw more Circle runners: Sat., 9/15, or Mon., 9/17?

Also, would a relay format attract more (each runner runs 1.5 mi. on our course)?
**********

This is a long way off, but I imagine Abu needs to figure out his schedule. Comments?

9/15 is Reach the Beach weekend which would filter out some WCRC'rs. 9/17 would be less competition with races, but the hour becomes a problem (i.e. getting to gda for a 4:45 start is a problem for many people with real jobs. I doubt that the distance is an issue (if its too short its not worth driving there to do).

I would try to make it providing there isn't a "pub series" race that weekend. The schedule isn't posted yet, but for anyone who may be interested it's a good series of races with good parties after each one. They can be a bit far (Cape Cod or RI) but many are closer. It's nice to get out of the area and run somewhere new. The first one is at Doyle's in Jamaica Plain on 4/22 I think.

a relay is a great idea-however the kids may kick our ass over 1.5. Make it 3x5k. XC and we have a good chance
man Abu plans ahead.

I get out in time for a 4:45 race and boy I felt like I've dealt with a lot of reality. I get Johnny, Jose, and Elvira Reality in front of me every day, telling me real things-often dealing with suggestions of what to do.

Fwd from Tom Miller"s e-mail.
The January meeting of the Winner’s Circle Running Club will be held at 6:30 PM on Thursday January 11, upstairs at the Winner’s Circle. On the agenda for this meeting is the nomination of members for election to the 2007 WCRC Board of Directors. Elections will be held at the WCRC Annual Party in February (tentatively scheduled for Saturday evening, Feb 10). If you think someone would be good on the WCRC Board, show up and nominate them! If you think you would be good on the WCRC Board, bring a friend to nominate you! (or buy me a beer and I’ll nominate you myself). Also on the agenda, the upcoming Frigid Five in Newburyport, the ever popular Run-To-The-Beach 30k, the April Fools 4 Miler, the Boston marathon (club entries, volunteers, club bus), and more.

Can someone tell me what the course is for the frigid fiver. Specifically I can't remember which street to turn on from High St and when you get to Mosely Pines at the end of Merrimac St I wasn't sure which street you take back to the Bresnehan. Thanks.

Hi Derek, From what I recall you go down High to Market (YWCA) then onto Merrimac until you get to Mosely Pines. You go left up Spofford Street and at the top shoot left (right goes to Maudslay) onto Ferry Road. Just a straight shot down Ferry coming out by Famous Pizza and then down High Street until you go into the Bresnahan school.

Following up meeting.
Chris Kealey, Dave Camire, Ken Tripp and myself have formed a committee to explore having more organized coaching for WCRC.
If you have any input please get in touch with us or post something here.

We are exploring:
the best place to do it.
The time period( ie summer, fall, spring etc.
How many/Who coaches(I have done it for the past several years, feel well qualified, and would love to continue BUT if anyone has others or suggestions for assts/co-coaches PLEASE give input).

One thing we do want to do is have it open to all abilities. In the past we have 'scared' others off as they think it is only for hardcores like Chris,
Mike Menesale, and the like.

I'd like to see coaching running year-round. I'd like to see workouts for different types of runners that take into account their different goals. Maybe in terms of planning that would require different coaches. I'd also like to see coaching going beyond the once a week track/cross-country session and help in the development of weekly training.

I don't know if club members are wired up with Nike+, but as someone who does most of their weekday running on a treadmill in Boston before work or occasionally during lunch it is hard to feel [or get] connected to the wider club membership. So I thought I might reach out to see if any folks might be interested in keeping tabs on one another to encourage more running and to generate some virtual camaraderie.

If anyone is interested, I have sent up a Challenge in Nike+ named "Winner's Circle Running Club." It is a basic challenge to see who runs the most miles in the remaining days of the month of February. Perhaps we can get more creative once we identify if there are a significant number of WCRC members have Nike+ and that are interested in this type of on-line running community.

If you are interested shoot me an email at pfdurning@comcast.net and I then I will add you as a challenger to this challenge through Nike+.

Kind of interesting news when people continue to say American running is not like it used to be. This record (21 year standing record) was set @ the Houston Marathon last month. Amazing pace of 4:33/mile. Next time you are on a track run a 68 sec/quarter. You'd have to continue that for 52 quarters.

*******************************************
Ryan Hall sets new North American record for the Half-Marathon (59:43)

http://www.usatf.org/news/view.aspx?duid=U...2007_01_14_12_20_27

“Through 5 km in 14:05, 10 km in 28:21, 15 km in 42:21 and ten miles in 45:33. He certainly passed the 20 km mark faster than his own USA 20-K record (57:54), but there was no official time taken at that point. An estimate from the lead truck was 57:06.”

I've always thought the club sponsored training sessions were one of the best programs the club has to offer its members. If we are about running, attracting new members and helping existing members become better runners than this is a great program. I'd love to see it run year round but that is probably a little unrealistic to begin with. The twice a year program, spring/fall has worked well. I also like the combonation of track and cross country training. Track in the spring and cross country in the fall.
The comradery that develops is just great and helps everyone push and perform better.
What has not worked well in the past is the low member turnout. This has been a problem lately. Mike has done a great job organizing and devoting his time to make these sessions work and it is a little embarrassing when only three or four people show up. Several years ago we had 20 people show up which worked extremely well as the group broke up into several natural groups based on ability/speed. This resulted in a great amount of comradery developing and everyone looked forward to having a great time running with the group each week. This worked so well for the members that several of the people ended up winning most improved runner of the year awards as a result of their hard work. Great for them and proof that the sessions work.
Well as you can see I think the speed sessions are well worth the effort. Mike is doing a great job and all we need to do is convince the club members to participate.I'd like to see the club offer this as a benefit to the members and have an extremely reduced fee as an incentive for members to attend.
Let's keep this great club program going. Thanks to all the coaches who have showed up every week over the years.

The Mt. Washington lottery is posted and I've already gotten several requests for club numbers. If you missed the lottery and are still interested in running please email me for consideration for a club number. As in the past priority will be given out based on service to the club, rejection from the lottery, and filling of teams.

Also if you are running the Boston Marathon and haven't contacted me about teams please do so. I haven't needed bib numbers to enter people so just let me know your name and age.

Sharing photos on the club site is an excellent idea, especially if it's easy for people to forward club photos and easy to post and view them. Seems that most other running clubs keep current photos broken down by races and other events. Is this something easily done on your flickr account? Can people just email you digital photos to add?

the club sponsored workouts will begin on May 2 and run til June 28th.
Wednesdays at 6p.m.-Fuller Track, Low St. Newburyport( tried to get Winnacunnet-further north site- but unsuccessful, perhaps in fall).
The workouts are open to everyone. We will have a 'beginners/walk-to-run' group if enough interest. For seasoned runners there will be suggested workouts with much flexibility according to goals, fitness level, and recent racing schedule.
The fee is $10 per session, or $75 for all, including a weekly training schedule. The workouts will be aimed to get people ready for the summer 'racing season', using the model that one prepares for a competitive season by doing hard workouts, then does more 'maintenance' running during this season. So there will be a logical progression to the workouts, but again with flexibility.
The coaches are myself,Mike McCormick and Laurie Gaudreau. The
club is presenting these as another option for runners to get together, runand meet. Even if you just want to come and run and hang out please do so,. No obligation and we will not be chasing people for money.
There are bathroom facilities at the site, as well as access to a dry area to stretch in case of rain. In addition there are local roads, and limited trails easily accessed as alternatives to the track.

Wow!

I just saw this after many months not checking the website...and thought I'd check in.

I'm retired from the Post Office, living in Beaverton, Oregon and working for Nike at the World Headquarters, in Human Resources. Haven't run more than a very occasional mile of walk-jog for the past 5 years, instead becoming a Scrabble expert and general dough boy.

Life is good here and I don't miss the winters. I've finally recovered the real will to run, rather than being the old guy who used to be in shape. Hood To Coast is a big deal here and I plan to get involved, altho it will likely be another year before I run it. My body doesn't have the same will that my mind has...and I'm 57.

I fondly remember the good times spent with you all, and assure you my door is always open to old running pals.

Cheers,
Falcon Eddie

We talked with him last night and he wanted to be sure you all knew that he really enjoyed meeting everyone. He said..." I came from the same place they all did. Club run from the Circle today?
I'm about to show some much needed tough love...
It has been a long time since I've done a Club run. You?
I find myself day-dreaming about the fun we ALL used to have on Thursdays, and how I wish everyone would just "show-up" again...myself included!!
I'm looking forward to some beach runs too!! Mike Fiene? Get Manning off the Green Monster, dust off the Red truck, have Gary paddle his way out "the mouth", Sue grab Kathy (hmmn,...didn't sound right), toss a flare under the "Exeter contingent", Speed-dial Kingston's trio, find Wile (nice touch by the way slipping those kids some cash for iced-tea...on the way to the beach...I remember sh_t like that), alert Joanne, the 2-Ted's & Allie, a half-dozen coaches, Yu grab a box of Cheese-itz, ME-(Mainers) a cooler full O'beer & letz join the Regulars (i.e. Labrode, Millers, etc.)...so we can make this spring/summer happen!! I hate to admit it, but since my injuries & moving to Maine...I've become a non-participating club member...something I used to "harp-on" all the time!! I just don't like it. Here's to bringing "running" back to the Circle!! I'm back starting TODAY!! I'm hoping to have this year's board support this mission...Ciao.

Kantara, that is...I'm a "user"...LOL.
Mike, I tried a NEW shoe at Marathon Sports while in Boston. I think the name is Equalon or something similar. You can correct me now...
Point being it finally happened...Nike managed to create a replacement for the Kantara. Also, the insoles have been re-designed!! It provides much more rear/mid foot support & heel lift....as well as maintains cushioning...perhaps even greater cushioning...if you can believe it. I'm not certain if the new insoles will be the standard in all shoes going forward, but this shoe comes equipped with them. No need to add insoles to these puppies. I was impressed & plan to try them when my Kantara supply fizzles. The cost, however, was higher.
Thanks for responding...

Hi everyone,

The Newburyport News is going to do a story on the club and I'd like your input.

What makes the club great and what is our role? What kind of cool or exotic races have you run? How many marathons? Ironmen??

Why do run and are you new to the sport? What makes running so great in our area? What is your opinion on recreational running today?

Feel free to post here or send me an email chris.kealey@thermofisher.com

I've been a Winner's Circle member for a few years but I've been running their races since I began about 15 years ago. I'm 52 now with seven marathons (4 Boston)and countless 5K, 10K and 5 mile races. The Circle keeps the competitive urge fun whether running or helping out on race day. They are an asset to the greater Newburyport area and the Merrimac Valley.

I have just moved to Newburyport from Bend, Oregon and would love to joing your running club. I would also like to extend an offer to club members and their family and friends. In Bend, I was a massage therapist, personal trainer, spin instructer and cycling coach. I have recently started working at Therapeutic Arts Massage on 8 Harris St. a few doors behind the library in Newburyport. I owned my own massage therapy business in Bend that specialized in sports massage and would like to have a strong emphasis on sports massage in Newburyport also. Until July 31, 2007, I will be offering $45 60 minute massage sessions. This is a savings of $25. I look forward to running with all of you and also seeing you in my massage studio. If you would like to schedule a massage, please call me at 978-914-1333 or e-mail at therapeuticarts@yahoo.com

Tom,
The club runs have become so thinly attended in recent weeks that I was looking forward to the Fugawi event. I thought only winners of the lottery could run Mt Wash, so probably most Circle members wouldn't be doing it.
btw: Thought I might see you at yesterday's Quad Pack Monadnock 10M - it would probably be good training for Mt Wash; not as steep but longer. Certainly the last 2 miles were brutal.

High Street Mile - new course.

FYI the course has been recertified by Steve Vaitones as follows (Course marked with yellow paint):

Start is 4'5" west of pole 62 at the intersection of Ferry and Story coming in on the right

The finish at the storm drain on the school side of High St opposite Carter St (middle section of High School wall)

1/4 = 44'9" before storm drain at High and Highland (after Myrtle)

1/2 = after Forester on left, 9'2" before pole 91-90 on right (before
Columbus)

3/4 = 66'7" before storm drain at Lafayette (after Rawson House)

 Hi Chris,

I'm a member of the Somerville Road Runners, and we're throwing Louise
Rossetti a birthday party next Thursday, which will coincide with our
Thursday night run at Khoury's state spa. We'd like to extent an invite
to Winner's Circle, as it was mentioned that Louise is also a member of
Winner's Circle. Heck, even if she isn't, come anyway.
