Hey Gang...Just wanted to let you know that you can go to the new website and get all the current updated info the SASS State Match. It will let you know if you are registered or not, by a click of a button. You can us the on-line entry which is updated and sign up for the match. If you have not signed up online or mailed your entry, your not entered. DEAD LINE is Wednesday 11/18/2009. Here is the link to new website

The Painted Princess won GRAND CHAMPION at the Columbia County Livestock Show and will be sport'n around that new buckle at the Parade of Champions on Saturday. Her hog weighed in at 273 lbs....we'll post pic later. Sorry we are going to miss the Extreme Challenge...sure was looking forward to another. We'll see yall at the practice!

I want to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers for my horse, Jack. His wound is about 1 inch long and 1/2 inch wide. It is scabbed over and looks fantastic. The hole has closed completely. Thank you again for all your prayers. Marilyn

Xtreme Cowboy Challenge tomorrow, I never thought I would be doing all these crazy things at my age!!! It is a dream come true!!!

Wendy - Is rifle next?

As a matter of fact I've been thinking of it, just thinking.... time will tell! But I know why y'all do it, what a rush! It is the best!!! My hat off to all that do it!!!

Wendy - You can't have your alias and not shoot rifle. I can honestly tell you that if I can do it, you definately can. Be a Nike commercial, just do it.

To anyone who cares - Some of you know this, most don't, but I will do a little bragging here. The Morgan Horse Assc. had a national Morgan Idol contest where you were to show a talent you and your horses have and compete against other acts around the country. We had the Mounted Shooting Morgans and competed at the Morgan Horse Citrus Cup at Canterbury. It was Pistolero Spur, Rocky Rider, Outlaw Granny and Myself, the lonely one. The horses were Whisper, Bear, Echo and Jazz. We have just been notified that we were the national competition winners. We are being considered as special entertainment at the World Equistrian Games in Lexington, Ky. in Sept. of 2010. This event is considered to be bigger than the Olympics in the horse world. There are some who say they'll never let us do it because we will scare all those good horses. (How can you scare a good horse?) Either way, we consider it an honor just to be considered. Special thanks go out to Grumpy and Grumpy's wife, Ted and Pat, Poppy, Wendy, Duke, Dane and anyone else who helped us with set up, balloons, and whatever else we needed. We just rode and shot, they made it happen. If I overlooked anyone, I'm sorry. I am old and forgetful. Now we just have to get everyone to Ky. if we are allowed to perform.

Congratulations Lone Wolf! Lexington is a nice place. Hope ya'll get to come.

Congrats to the Morgan crew! I hope they let you shoot there during the WEG - CMSA got turned down as an exhibition sporting association demo due to the noise involved...maybe you can sweet-talk them into it. Heading to the Spacecoast State Fair today for an announcing job. Y'all enjoy a beautiful weekend.

I want to thank Don and Patti Hynds and Dane and Gina Hovey for putting on the Extreme Cowboy Challenge at the Florida Horse Park today. I also want to thank the numerous volunteers that made the day such fun. And last but not least I want to thank JD Leather for the wonderful breast collar I won. For those of you that missed it it was a blast: running through the woods, backing through obstacles, carrying the Florida state flag, going through a maze, ride down the embankment,around a barrel pattern, up the other side of the embankment, dragging a log, pole bending , going over 3 logs, shooting 2 balloons, grabbing a slicker, going through a hay tunnel, through the water, hanging the slicker up and then loading into a trailer.
What a blast!!!!!!!!!!1

Congratulations on that good win Diamond Queen. I saw you there & was proud you won. Sergio had the fastest go of the day on the Advanced course. What a blast the Extreme was. I felt like I was in a real Western movie cantering through the water, jumping in & out of the pit. It was a rush. Thanks Don, Patti ,Dane & all else who helped. Poppy
