Sundance - The generator is not that important when you are talking about a group as important as Hospice. My dad will be needing that soon so I will replace my generator myself and keep that money for the cause. Also, I will graciously remove myself from the calender and let some of the Outlaws younger stallions get in it.

To all SASS'ers - The Florida Outlaws Eastern Championship this past Feb. has been picked by SASS as the SASS MATCH OF THE YEAR! It is called the Wooly award. They are presenting it the first week of Dec. at the SASS convention in Las Vegas and would like someone from our club to be there to accept it. I think I almost have Sundance talked in to going. If anyone else wants to go, you are more than welcome to go too.

Don't forget the practice on Nov. 14 at the Fl. Horse Park.

WoW! I just love the folks involved in our Club! JD Leather read about the incident which mared our event over the weekend. He has graciously decided to make a pair of custom saddle bags to be auctioned off to benefit replacing the items stolen from our club volunteers. Is this the greatest bunch of folks you have ever been involved with or what! Leave it to the Florida Outlaws to turn this around!

OH, I'm still standing my ground and NOT doing "Caroling on Horseback" as scheduled for the Horse Park. I will however have our local one we do each year for Sun Lake and the Wolcott Ranch. UR all invited!

Will SASS be adopting CMSA rifle rules for 2010, such as seperate class for revolving carbines? We've been working with Taylor's and have TWO new rifles coming out specifically for mounted shooting:
The "Runnin' Comanchero" '73 and the "Runnin' Iron Carbine" revolving carbine. The '73 is a 16" carbine with lowered and rounded front site, action job, short stroke, lever wrap and butt cover. The revolving carbine has lowered hammer and action job. Both will be out in a couple of months. The new mounted shooting pistol "Runnin Iron" will be out very soon and I plan to do some "show and tell" with the SASS and CMSA clubs as soon as I have the first pair. I know some of you have already seen them at our booth in M-boro and Amarillo...
