I had a blast even though I had to hold Echo back for all 11.58 miles. The BBQ was a lot of fun. Of course the Jacuzzi was my favorite seat in the house!!! Thanks Patti and Don!!

Oh, for those who give a s**t, I had my GPS with me. We went 11.58 miles and it took 3 hours and 15 minutes of actual riding time.

Yeah, I enjoyed myself. And we got real lucky. I know I saw a whole passel of hogs run off when we came by. If they had jumped up in the middle of the 7th Cavalry there, we might have had lots of excitement. There were a few riders there that were "inexperienced", but they were being taken care of real well by others, and that makes all the difference.

I also want to say that I was very pleased. We had 27 riders and not one incident - riders or horses. That is impressive with that many people on a trail ride. It was a great turnout for the ride and the BBQ. I think we should call it the first annual Florida Outlaws 4th of July Trailride and make it an every year thing....what does everyone else think?

  Lone Wolf said we can ride around in the covered arena on Friday night but no shooting. There will be a practice on the 19th at the Florida Horse Park starting at 9 AM. Hope that covers it. See ya then!

Thanks Sundance....but I'm gonna have to sit this trail ride out....with fuel the price it is I have to pick and choose and I'd rather go to practice and competitions. Don't get me wrong, I love trail riding and I know I would enjoy the day with you guys. Have a good day, and I'll see you at the next practice.

P.S. Will there be a practice on the Friday night before competition on Saturday morning?
