The two of them together anytime is dangerous! I believe they would call it nuclear waste! Your neighbors would sue for contaminating the environment. You and I wouldn't have any friends once the cookout was over. Chuck would be impeached due to "behavior unbecoming of an Outlaw." (Don't let him know that's his way out or he may take advantage of it.) The stench could cause all the ears on the horses to flop and they would all look like Mule Skinner's "horse." We may all die from toxic fumes!!! I think I better make a salad instead of Cowboy Beans!

Good news about Sam Bass!! The Lord has been working over-time answering all our prayers!!! Let's keep praying for Stephanie so she will come through this better than new!!

Morning Sun - I will bring my famous Cowboy Beans. They can be cooking in the crockpot all morning while we ride!! Yummy!! But, Lone Wolf can't eat any or he will have to stay outside! Poncho Bandito, can Lone Wolf ride home with you if he eats any beans? Angel of Tombstone, you can ride with me.

For those that have NOT seen the Newsletter - Enjoy!

A cowboy named Bud was overseeing his herd in a remote mountainous Pasture in Wyoming when suddenly a brand-new BMW advanced out of a dust cloud towards him. The driver, a young man in a Brioni suit, Gucci shoes, Ray Ban sunglasses and YSL tie, leans out the window and asks the cowboy, 'If I tell you exactly how many cows and calves you have in your herd, Will you give me a calf?'

Bud looks at the man, obviously a yuppie, then looks at his peacefully grazing herd and calmly answers, 'Sure, Why not?' The yuppie parks his car, whips out his Dell notebook computer, connects it to his Cingular RAZR V3 cell phone, and surfs to a NASA page on the Internet, where he calls up a GPS satellite to get an exact fix on his location which he then feeds to another NASA satellite that scans the area in an ultra-high-resolution photo.

The young man then opens the digital photo in Adobe Photoshop and Exports it to an image processing facility in Hamburg, Germany. Within seconds, he receives an email on his Palm Pilot that the image has been processed and the data stored. He then accesses a MS-SQL database through an ODBC connected Excel spreadsheet with email on his Blackberry and, after a few minutes, receives a response.

Finally, he prints out a full-color, 150-page report on his hi-tech, miniaturized HP LaserJet printer and finally turns to the cowboy and says, 'You have exactly 1,586 cows and calves.''That's right. Well, I guess you can take one of my calves,' says Bud. He watches the young man select one of the animals and looks on amused as the young man stuffs it into the trunk of his car.

Then the Bud says to the young man, 'Hey, if I can tell you exactly what your business is, will you give me back my calf?' The young man thinks about it for a second and then says, 'Okay, why not?''You're a Congressman for the U.S. Government', says Bud. 'Wow! That's correct,' says the yuppie, 'but how did you guess that?'

'No guessing required.' answered the cowboy. 'You showed up here even though nobody called you; you want to get paid for an answer I already knew, to a question I never asked. You tried to show me how much smarter than me you are; and you don't know a thing about cows...

This is a herd of sheep. . . .Now give me back my dog!

Good evening everyone. Here is a little update on Stephanie. She is not responding to the medication as hoped. She will be needing a bone marrow transplant. Her sister will be tested tomorrow, if she is a match we will know in 24-48 hours. If she is not a match, it could take up to 2-3 months to poss. find a match in the donor base. Please keep praying.

Have a safe and happy 4th July.

If anyone needs directions to Ross Prairie trailhead for the ride on the 4th you can get them at www.ocalaweekenders.com.

For anyone that is riding on the 4th - you are invited to come to a cook-out at Don and Patti's house after the ride and to jump in the pool. Please bring a dish and drinks. We will supply the burgers, buns and condiments. Please RSVP me at peh56@embarqmail.com so I have an idea of how many will be coming back to the house.

Congrats to all the Mounted Shooters who competed in the Obstacle Challenge today. Ya'll did great! We made alot of Friends and hopefully we'll see some of them at the next practice.

Shooting at OEC will be a great experience for the new Shooters. A covered arena brings a whole new light to the competition. Remember to sign up early and get an extra ticket in the saddle drawing.

Thanks TK on the demo info. I think it's fantastic that our members introduce our Sport through demonstrations. I salute you and hope to see more!

OK...I wasn't going to say anything because I won a pretty shirt from SASS last year, just like member 73199 did this year. But since my SASS number is 73200, I have a pretty good idea as to WHO the winner is. Besides, I over heard the entire conversation with Prairie Mary when she told him. It's fixed!!!! We should all protest at the next match!

Thanks Lone Wolf! I'm just not that familiar with Excel and forgot to look down!
I hope everyone has a wonderful 4th of July. Your trail ride sounds fun. I would love to join for a ride sometime but not this one. We're heading to friends' at Myrtle Beach for a week . . . complete relaxation. I AM ready!

I just went to the website. When you go to match results for the June match, the Xtreme comes up. Look at the bottom and click on the tab you want. They are overall, by class, rifle and xtreme. This will enable you to look at the results.

I have to apologize. I think Sundance sent me a draft before sending it to you guys. Correct me if I'm wrong, Sundance.
Prairie Mary told me the Outlaw that won the drawing at End of Trail was Outlaw #73199. Congratulations Outlaw #73199!
The contract has been signed and the July 26th match will be a day match at the Ocala Equestrian Center. It will start at 10 a.m. For those of you who have not shot under a roof, you will love it. It will assure us that the match will go on, even if it rains. Here's the fees for that match:
Entry fee will be the same.
$20 RV hook-up - water and electric
$25 stall fee (originally $40)
$6.50 bag of shavings or bring your own
$15 trailer fee (this is for those of you who come for the day and don't camp.)
There is no fee for dry camping but you must use stalls. The arena does not allow hot pens or tie outs for horses. These are good prices for this arena. It will be nice to be able to shoot during the day in the summer. There is also a nice covered warm up arena in case of rain. This is a great opportunity for our club. Let's have a big showing. Any questions, call me.

I am very glad to hear your raccoon has gone back to its mother. I hope in time and with therapy the big bad Marine's heart will heal ;)
