If any of the Flag Ceremony gang will be at the next SASS practice,please set aside some time to run through the pattern together. Hopefully we will be able to listen to the music and get the timing down.

Wow! Xtreme Cowboy Challenge was fantastic! Yep, the Mounted Shooters did really well! Man were the folks "Off the Leash". We had them all shooting 2 balloons with a 45 single action and they loved it! We should get some members for sure! Props to Sergio for his overall win in Advanced. Colin (Lover Boy) won the Youth division.

And Mandy (Pinky) - She tore everyone up in the pond. No one could touch that girl running through water. She lend me her rocket ship with hoofs in a match race with her through the pond. I now know what it feels like to be shot out of a cannon. Whew!

Props go to the WONDERFUL Volunteers as well. You guys and gals are the best. We are blessed just to know ur names. XOX. Our Vendors as well - They donated ALL the awards! JD Leather and Western Connection did a raffle to assist Blink of an Eye Photo for the camera equipment they loss last weekend. Is that NOT the Cowboy Way or what?

Thanks to Sundance and Don for all the work that they put into the xtreme cowboy challenge for all to enjoy. And thanks to all the volunteers that worked hard. To JD Leatrher and Western connection, how can words express the heart felt thanks for thier generosity in helping Cathy with her stolen camera equipment. Cathy and I will always be there to lend a helping hand to all that need it. Again thanks to all.

A radio station in Chicago will be online this morning from 10-12 playing old timey cowboy songs and a dedication to Deke Rivers and his three generations of cowboy entertainment family with a song written about his grandfather at the J Bar H rodeo in Camdenton Mo. We hope you all can listen in, sign up and comment by email. They will read your emails on the show over the air. This has been a long time in prearation. Had a great day at the Civil War Battle at Continetal Arces. We were Confederate and out a hurting on those Yankees! I even bleed on the battle field! Thanks to Byron and Mike for keeping us in line.

The Florida Outlaws Mounted shooting is a unique horse club, where everyone is eager and willing to lend a helping hand wherever and whenever it's needed.. a club where you might come the first time as a stranger, but you leave as part of the family.

The Cowboy Way Award, is opportunity to recognize and thank that one special person in the club that you feel has gone above and beyond to help others.
A person who demonstrates;
Compassion - consciousness of others' needs, Patience - calm and understanding with others, Kindness - always willing to go that extra step to help others. Faithfulness - a person you can always count on rain or shine, Gentleness -a person who is gentle and caring to their horse, Joy - This person has a great day win or loose, they just enjoy being with their horse and the other members of the club, doing what they love to do.
