Hey all, I can not weigh in on the discussion at hand, as JR and I left early that evening. I would like to say though, this club has been wonderful to my husband and I in so many ways. We thank everyone for that. God is good all the time.

I agree with Keith, Wendy and Eric. We have been given a right in this country to speak our thoughts, sometimes we do not do them as everyone feels. Some people are shy and others are not. Lets are try to underestand, and learn.

Just so you know the United States Marine Corps believes in GOD, COUNTRY, CORPS, in that order. I believe it would be a great idea for??? sign right up and let your drill instructor know that you don’t like the way he refers to you as a slimy f*((* civilian that does nothing but sit around on the couch, smoke dope, and watch leave it to beaver reruns. I really don’t mean that, at least the part about joining the Marine Corps.
I think regardless of where you are if you are looking to be offended you can find a reason, I do not intentionally offend anyone, although it happens frequently. I also know that Sundance is broken hearted that someone was offended, therefore if Mr. or Mrs. ??? Would like to step forward maybe they can assist the club by conducting a politically correct award ceremony.
Have a good life, live it the way you should, you will be the one answering for it.
Please understand if you try to please everyone no one will like it. I know the innuendos you are referring too, I also know they came from the audience and were handled appropriately by the individual they were direct toward.
As far as who is Christian and who is not. Let us not sound like third graders arguing about “my Dad can beat up your Dad.
??? in the future bring your concerns to a board member or officer, that way you can express your concerns and not be treated like an outcast, just a thought. The message board is a very wicked place. The problem is the board is one dimensional all you have are the written words, no body language, no facial expression, no tone of voice, there for the reader is left to image how your words are meant an often you are taken wrong.

Bronc Buster, Keith, who I do believe I had the pleasure of meeting. I found and agree with a lot of what you said. First of all to ??? I thank you for stating your feelings, something I know must of been extremely difficult to of done. As a mother and one who cares about what type of environment I have my children around, I can understand where you are coming from. I can see when there are children in the audience, they should not be made uncomfortable when adult remarks are made. With that in mind, including ???, Let us all continue to have one of the fastest growing clubs around with family values in mind, with the club wanting to have more Buckaroos join, we need to keep the family values in mind.
So, Yeeeeee Haaaaaaaaaa, lets us all just get along and have a fantastic and fun time together and respect that we are all different, Amen, Thank you God and watch what we say and do in the future out of respect for one another.
I hope you all had a wonderful and memorable Thanksgiving and truly understand the meaning of what it is to be able to do what we all treasure the most and that is the freedom we all enjoy! Thanks go to our troops who are fighting for that freedom. Lets move on from this and shoot straight and enjoy the ride!

My alias is Bronc Buster, my name is Keith Meriweather. Now that is out of the way, I been reading some of these recent posts and feel compelled to add my two cents worth.

First, I must apologize to whoever ??? is for offending them, and must admit that although I am a christian, and most definitely an imperfect one, I found myself laughing at some of that banter that was mentioned. I must agree, however, that it was inappropriate for children, and therefore for an organization that claims to be family friendly.

I do not understand why ??? would be proud enough of their beliefs to express their offense, and yet not proud enough to claim those beliefs by signing their own name, but just because I do not understand a thing does not change it, and just because I do not agree with their choice to remain anonymous does not change the fact that what they posted in their original message has merit.

Shame on us for reacting as childishly as we have! This is like the little kid who says "if you don't like the way I pitch I'll take my ball and go home". There are young men and women dying in other parts of the world to protect our right to freely express our opinions, and we dishonor them by claiming to support them and then behaving so poorly to one who exercises the very rights they fight to defend.

The original message was not rude nor impolite, but rather a well thought out expression of feelings that should have been welcomed and treated with respect. I am sure this was not easy for the author to write, which may be why they chose to remain anonymous, fearing exactly the type of reaction which has been prevalent in most of the messages since.

To ???, I apologize for my part in any offensive actions, and to anyone else here on the message board or in the club that I may have offended with this post, I also apologize.

I think we need to "put on our bib boy panties" and admit when we were wrong, and then let it go and move forward.

Oh No, now you're starting to sound like Big Brother. But you are right, the "Classy" thing to do would be to take a problem like this to the Directors, and if you truly thought it was damaging to children, a quiet word during the dinner might make more sense.

Carole, I am not offended by the criticism, but if you are going to be critical please stand by it and sign your name to it. If I have something to say I will stand up and put my name to it. It is cowardly to come on a message board and be critical and not use your name. Have they no spine? I just don't think the poster was sincere. I think the post was meant to start trouble, other wise why not use your real name. Also when there is a board of directors and officers I think the proper thing to do if you have a problem with the club the proper channel would be to go through them and not by posting on the message board. I was at the party till the end and I didn't see any thing that I thought was so bad. After all it was not a church service. I wish the poster would put their name to the post. But we will know the poster anyhow. There are ways.

We should'nt be offended by criticism on this board. That's how we make things better. I'm just not sure THIS criticism is warrented. I am a little baffled by the reference to "rubbing". I know our members consider each other family, and hug and touch a lot, but it is in the spirit of love and fun. I guess there were some Double Entendres(that's French, Ya'll) during the evening, but they were pretty mild and not meant to hurt anybody. There was a lot of love in that room, and I am so sorry that anyone would misinterpret that.

Hey Everyone, just wanted to let you know that we have gotten Riders A-F up on the website. We are continuing to work on getting more up and will post as we do. To find your album a little easier, in the upper Left corner, where it says "sort albums by" default, use the drop down box to choose "most recently created". That will put the state match albums in the first order. Thank you so much for the interest. Hoping to have the rest of the pictures up by tonight/tomorrow morning. I will post to let ya'll know.

I also wanted to let ya'll know that the lighting (especially the second day) proved a little challenging. I apologize if some of the pictures did not come out like I would like, but some did have a cool "motion" blur to them. Thank you for your interest and hope that your find something you like and catches the moment for you. Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving and enjoys the holidays. Please though, remember the reason for the season and keep Christ in Christmas. Blessings to everyone.

Lone wolf , I could not have said it better. I am offended by anyone that comes on a message board and makes charges such as this and won't put their name to it. Seems kinda cowardly to me. it seems more like someone that is only trying to stir up trouble and that is the kind of people that can ruin a club. I hope you can find a club that you can fit in with. I also wish you would have the class to put your name on here so we can put a face to your comments. I have been a member of many different clubs over the years and have made my living in the horse business for 35+ years and I have never been around such a great group as this club and I am proud to be a member of the Florida Outlaws and I hope this club never changes. I also felt that if ??? truly had a problem with the party that a message board where you can hide your identity is the wrong place to bring it up. Perhaps you could have approached a board member or the club president to voice your opinion and that would have been a better way to handle the issue. Just Sayin !
