Hello. I have never posted here or even looked at this site before, but I have had an interest in alien abduction for years. Even as a child I wondered about aliens and remember trying to read Betty and Barney Hill's Interrupted Journey when I was about 10, but could never seem to get it read, even after several tries. Never thought I was an experiencer, still could not say that I have any kind of odd experiences or memories. The only thing that makes me wonder about my own possible abduction is the fact that I have an unexplainable object in my abdomen. Years ago I had an xray of my kidneys and bladder. The xray techs thought there was something in the field on the table and were searching for something metal on the table. They also asked me if I had ever been shot. I had no history of trauma or ANY kind of surgeries, ever. I saw the circle on the xray....perfectly round and probably half the size of a dime. I blew it off as a fluke in the xray film. Then 20 yrs later I had a GI xray and it showed up there. Then I later had CT scans which showed it....the report read "a 7mm dense metal object found in the left retroperitoneal space". A doctor friend of mine confirmed that something defined as being in that area is not likely to be something I had ever swallowed.
I know it also does not fit the usual alien implant findings, either.
I only can recall one sighting which was very brief but remains very vivid in my memory of a disk shape which glowed like the moon going past my window when I was probably 10-11 yrs old. I also had a couple of episodes around the same time where my mother said I was inconsolable at night and fearful for her to leave me and crying,etc.....but never remembered any of that myself.

Hello, from the humid state of Minnesota,

i am very driven to learn more about what might be going on, now that I have realized that aliens are indeed contacting us.

If amyone could help me out by steering me towards some good podcasts to listen to,I would appreciate it. My day job involves a lot of driving around the city, and my main source of info is the podcasts that I listen to as I drive. Only recently have I found the more "advanced" types of podcasts, as far as ufos go. I have listened to Joe Montaldo's show non-stop since I found it, and am almost through his entire list of shows.

I am looking for the podcasts that would be good for someone who is fairly well informed as far as the shows/books from mainstream ufology, and wants to explore abductions more specifically.

My reading time is limited (ouch!) but I would like to read some books by contactees that are good ones for learning more this subject. Are there some books by advanced contactees that could help me jump-start my education?

I have downloaded all of UFO Undercover available on Itunes, and want to learn more about the alien agenda and what the heck is going on. Now that I realize that abductions are probably real,my curiosity is intense.

My job takes me away from home for so many hours in a day that I dont have the time to read and look things up in the way that I would do if I had the time. So, any help would be appreciated!

I did not know until very recently that a majority of contactees/abductees consciously remember key portions of their abduction.

I can thank Joe's and other's podcasts for me learning of that.

That hit me like a ton of bricks one day...this isn't just people undergoing hypnosis. This stuff is very most probably real.

Thank you for your reply,LexxBirdLady. It really helps to share this with someone else. Our local MUFON group is very big on the use of hypnosis, which I am not sure that I want to try, and my husband and most of my family thinks that all of this stuff is demonic.

To be honest,in the past I actually helped to facilitate a small abduction support group in Plano Texas, and now I feel like I am the one with hardly anyone to share with!
(My sister is an experiencer, and she ran a support group in 1990 or thereabouts when she had a practice as a psychiatrist in Plano. She left the UFO field entirely after a few months of being involved in it.)

I have a couple of things that I am curious about, because I have heard little or nothing about similar things happening to other people.

For as long as I can remember, I have had a "psychic" feeling of something being present close to my body, watching me. It feels like it is always located a few feet to inches away from my body, and is on my right side, about 45 degrees to the right of my front. I can always feel it there whenever I happen to think about it.

Years ago, when I was maybe 40 to 45 years old, I went through a period where I heard an intermittent "beep" sound. It was a single, electronic sounding beep, it would happen when I was alone in whatever room I was in, and it would sound like it was in the house, but not in any one particular place. In other words, the sound was localized, like it came from a single source, but the location of the sound would vary. I can't remember the specifics exactly, but I believe that it would happen anywhere from several times a day to once every few days.

I have an exaggerated startle response. I have never been hit or abused, yet if someone touches me and I am not really expecting it, I "jump". This does not happen in intimate encounters, more like when a friend touches me on the arm or shoulder in a casual way.

there are a lot of us out here that are in your boat, i've had some experience with the time slippage issue, not so much missing time, i dont think, but more like being thrown backwards only to repeat / see the same thing again (then again,&#A0;maybe i was taken and dropped back down a few minutes earlier, i don't know. could happen, but i don't remember that part of it )&#A0;&#A0;&#A0; i have seen a chevron formation in the past, but most of what i see occurs in my home, including those cloaked/invisible looking beings. &#A0;
i just don't understand why 'they' would want me to stop my research (it was a message given to me twice). &#A0;

I am new to this message board-I found out about ICAR recently from listening to Joe Montaldo's excellent podcasts.
I have been interested in UFOs as for long as long as I can remember, but never suspected that I may be an abductee until recently. Here is my story in a nutshell:
I have had polteregiest-like and ESP experiences most of my life, but never remember seeing a UFO until around the year 2000, when I was 40 years old. My husband and I in our car, "chasing" a small object that first looked like an orange balloon that was unusual in that it was changing color and shape. (My husband and I first met at a UFO conference, so chasing this thing seemed very natural to us LOL.) Here is where it got strange: my memory of the ending of this event was that I saw a poorly-defined object over the treetops that looked vaguely like some sort of fancy kite, that I saw over the treeline for a few seconds until it moved behind the trees and out of view. My husband remembers something very different-that we stopped the car, in a spot about a block away from my sighting, because I had pointed up and said that I saw a small object high above the car. My husband looks up through the windshield, and sees an object shaped basically like a fish, that was multicolored, about 20 feet long, and (gulp) about 10 feet directly over our car. He watched it for a few seconds, and his memory is that it then moved behind the treeline and disappeared within 7 or 8 seconds or so. The problem is...I do not remember that he saw that thing-I was shocked when he described it how close it was to the car much later. He remembers that he described it to me at the time, and that I did not say anything much in response-which is very out of character for me. In fact, I remember that after the incident,I was disappointed that our exciting ufo chase turned out to be little more than a chase after some kind of fancy kite. The other strange thing is, when we went back to the site, my husband realized that the treeline was in fact much farther away from us than in his memory, so the object could not have gone behind the treeline as quickly as he remembers it.
For some reason, it did not hit me until this week that we may have been abducted. Why, I don't know.
A bit more information-Budd Hopkins tried to regress me years ago because a close relative had abduction memories, and Budd was curious about my memories. I was skeptical-I believed in abductions but did not think that I had had any. When he tried to regress me, a strange thing happened. I did not go under, but we all heard a skittering/knocking sound on the walls, that lasted for a minute or so.
I guess that I have a couple of questions.
I am wondering if there is any way to facilitate my retrieval of memories other than hypnosis. I am very "front-loaded" with knowledge about abductions, for a non-researcher at least, and would question the veracity of memories retrieved by hypnosis.
Also, I am curious to know if anyone else has heard of other people who have had strange noises occur at the same time that they were undergoing attempted hypnosis.
Thanks for listening! I feel the need to get this off my chest. I am a mental health professional,and cant exactly go running off and telling my friends and colleagues about fish in the sky!
Oh, one more thing-it was interesting to hear Joe describe the fact that some abductees describe how they seemed to jump ahead in time. About 30 years ago,I remember driving a 9 hour drive that only took about 5 hours, because I suddenly found myself in a town that was about a 4 hour drive away from where I was at the time. I don't remember seeing anything strange at the time, but this was a bit interesting to say the least.

I had abducted dream that someone inserted a long needle into either my left eye or my left nostril, because before I knew it, I was passed out in the dream (was so panic.)

prayer to God. ask for protection from them. there have been times in the last year or two, that i have had a 'dream' and later after rising, going to the bathroom, etc, i find i'm bleeding from my left nostril. I never get nose bleeds (unless i've got some horrid head cold and that's rare anymore). One time, i was merely discussing greys, aliens, online w/a friend and about an hour later went to lunch, before i could get to my car, i was dripping blood from my left nostril. weird. &#A0;

on&#A0; a different note, i'm curious as to why people think these black shadow hat and long coat wearing men are bad/evil. i don't understand, because mine has always kept me safe and protected from other entities and or people. i would see mine all the time when i stayed at a friends house, it was as if he was out front watching out for me as i slept. he's always about 15-20feet from me.&#A0; i have had sleep paralysis very rarely and it is typically followed by an illness, like a stomach virus, etc., i don't have the ones where there is something on me. i do have oobe all the time. recently, i've been told that there's a vortex in my home, which would explain quite a few things!&#A0;
