Congratulations on adopting a new member into your family. Nicky is part Shi Tzu for sure! The white "feather" on his forehead is a desirable marking for the breed, so he must be MOSTLY a Shi Tzu. As you know, Sadie has a little boy (pure bred) named Leo and Brittany has a little girl named Lola Bella who looks to me to be an all black Maltese. Lola has finer bones and longer muzzle than Leo, who is (harump) "dense". (Or to be more direct, he's a chubby little dumpling.)They are very smart and want to please you. We love the breed! I'm very happy for you all and I'm sure Nicky will be a blessing to your family.

Love, Robin

That is the cutest dog I ever saw! We looked him up in the morning paper, and very similar animals go for $400.00! You could trade him for two $200.00 cats, but who would want cats?
Our dog is the opposite--barks all the time, is extremely agressive, and very strong--it's all I can do to hold onto the leash. But he is very loving, and sits on my lap and nuzzles me every day.
Dorothy said this Nicky is the first male in your family in over 20 years--is that right? If so, you have a new partner in the battle of the sexes.
