Walsall Hospice 5K – Sunday 3rd January 2010
Some folks have asked about entry forms for the Walsall Hospice 5K on Sunday 3rd January 2010, entries, either online or in downloadable paper form are available via the following link: http://www.walsallhospice.co.uk/index.php?...m_events&evt_id=290; paper copies will also now be in the ‘ARC in Touch’ & race information file.
If you are not running but are available to help out on the day in anyway, can you please have a word with Liam.

Up-date on Wheaton Aston 10k. Race is now full. Anyone that posted an entry form before last postal collection yesterday should be ok.

ARC Ladies are invited to a Christmas Meal at the Hardwick Arms on Friday 11th December 2009 at 7.30pm. Cost of 3 course meal is £9.95 and we will be having a secret santa as well(£5). Sue Benzie needs to book this asap as it is only 3 weeks away!!! She needs your choice of meal this week if possible and a £5 deposit by next Tuesday. You can contact Sue (Sue and I both have the menu)on 01922 459686 or myself on 01922 611954 or 07769837170 to book in and choose your meal. Should be a great evening in the true ARC tradition.

Was thinking on the lines of the Atlantis Half (weather permiting) or the Robert Mugabe 10k in Zimbabwe. We could get a coach !

Steve Law is considering adding the Bernard Matthews Christmas Cracker to the Grand Prix..... Then we can all have a tin foil overcoat.

I like those things Steve, why would I complain about those!

And I don't complain, I facilitate discussion!! :-)

Unfortunately, even with Wheaton Aston, i don't think that I can make it to 7 races, which is a shame. I have too much school stuff on in September! I will run in the events that I can get to though.

Hope you've read that entries are still being accepted, Rob, for Wheaton Aston 10K. Hope to see you there. Some good Grand Prix points up for grabs!

Any serious minded athlete would recognise the need to keep warm prior to the race after a sensible warm up.

I'm surprised that Rob didn't complain to the organisers about the mud, clay, greasy hills, waist high river, lack of showers etc. Plenty of opportunities missed.
