Hello ARC. Sorry I didnīt have time to attend the "London Marathon Buffet" on Tuesday evening, but my flight left at 07:30am. However, I shall be back in the uk on Tuesday 15th June for Robīs wedding and hope to be at the club that evening, someone may even talk me into running a mile or two, even though I have now retired. A big thanks from Rob and Myself to everyone that supported us and Action Heart with our marathon quest. Looking forward to seeing you all soon.
Dale .

As you are no doubt aware, the Aldridge 10K, fun run & childrens races take place on Sunday 13 June 2010; as a running club we unashamedly strive to make this race and the whole race day experience the best there is and to achieve this requires the help of all members and where possible their family & friends with various roles including the setting out of the start & finish areas, marshalling, water stations, time keeping, results etc.
We are delighted that this years race has been graded as a Gold standard by BARR, this however puts an even greater emphasis on the race committee to ensure that everything is put in place and runs (excuse the pun) as smoothly as possible.
We hope that all members will be available to help on the day and, over the coming weeks, will be seeking confirmation of your availability; to assist with this it would be helpful if you could inform Chris Sprules on a Tuesday evening or alternatively drop an email to chris.sprules@talktalk.net.
Thank you.

Hello I am doing a raffle for my London Marathon charity, the prize is an ENGLAND PENNANT SIGNED BY FABIO CAPELLO, this will come with an official letter from the FA to show its authenticity. I am selling the tickets at Ģ1.50p each or Ģ5 per strip (5 tickets). My husband Chris will be in the club Tuesday before you run (he'll be the one holding our 1 year old baby!) as i go to college on club nights so you can get your tickets from him then if not see Mel as i have asked her if she would kindly help me to sell the tickets at the club in my absense, i will draw the raffle in the Easter half term before the London marathon. All proceeds go to Depaul Uk, if you would like to donate your money online then pick up the tickets at a later date please log onto www.justgiving.com/beckycunnanelondon I run most Sundays with the club so i will bring them with me on Sundays too. I have attatched a picture of the prize to an email on the aldridge running club email. Also please do ask any friends or family who may like to enter, you never know England may win the world cup and it may be worth something!!! Hi Ken , Streetly Gate is straight down Sutton Road out of Walsall, straight over Barr Beacon ,straight on at the Foley Arms. Straight past my house down Foley Rd West, straight over Chester Rd traffic lights to Streetly village. At the T junction turn Right then immediately left into the park. Streetly Gate is the gate we normally enter the park on a sunday morning run. There is a small car park just inside the gate where we will meet. See you all there! John

Hallo all the Sunday morning runners. The pavements around Aldridge are slippy & treacherous at the moment. Does anyone fancy a nice run in the Winter Wonderland of Sutton Park- I ran there this morning & the off road trails were perfect, soft snow, not deep, not slippy at all. If you would like to join me for a steady 10k (approx), meet me just inside Streetly Gate at 9am.I will be there Regards John
