What exactly is their definition of confidence for the nodes...
..well, Deborah, it is # nodes whose belief(node_i) > B_CONF_THRESHOLD
How do you get thethreshold?

It would be cool to combine inpainting with a whole body tracking algorithm in a video and be able to remove a person of choice in a video...
Overall this could be really powerful if combined with an intelligent selection algorithm; if one could easily select features to remove, it would be a useful way to improve photos.
