Mea culpa (yeah, it's true) - I am finding the Apple firewall hard to penetrate! :-) The trouble is, I talk to people in the networks. People from companies like O2 and Vodafone and the rest are perhaps too close to the subject - they get access to stuff which Apple may - or may not - eventually launch. See this analysis of why the keyboard-equipped iPhone hasn't appeared - and may not: Observers who were forecasting a "proper keyboard" iPhone for June 2009 are giving Apple one last chance to announce a corporate version of its mold-breaking mobile. Tonight, it almost certainly won't appear. That, say analysts, might mean that Apple has given up on the mainstream corporate market.

I think they're doing three Tablets.
What happened to our prediction of a pull-out keyboard?

No iPhone by 2013?Impossible! It's a major success, outselling Windows Mobile! Or... well, what sort of success is WinMo, anyway? And what about the new Tablet or Touch Max, or whatever they announce this evening?

iPhone 3.0?No, just the iPhone OS 3.0. Ten AM California time and we have our forecast ready. Pretty much: "We don't know, either!"

Ooops... imMobileMe!Yes, it's a web email service, and yes, a dodgy server brought it down and that, surely, is the end of it? It happens, right? But this isn't just any old web mail service. This is an Apple web mail service. So it becomes a theological issue, right?

Don't get run over! The new Sennheiser headphones for ite iPhone are excellent! But they cut out all noise from the environment. That's great if you want to hear the music. Not quite so great if you want to hear the bus that's going to mow you down on the road... take care crossing!

Worst deal ever? Apparently, it's the iPhone from O2. Well, that's what the Sunday Times says. But it blames Moneysupermarket.com of course...

A million iPhones?Monday came and went; no announcement about the 3G EuroiPhone. Well, a legal wrangle is apparently behind the delay. But they are now hoping it will all be sorted out Thursday.
