Part of my prep is to store and use rainwater that has been treated for drinking or as is to water my garden.Growing your own food locally is what makes sense. Others have decided they are going to ride out any "Storm" on a boat they can live on. I would like any and all info about this last choice, since I am leaning towards that as a plan "B". I live very close to the great lakes so this is a real possibility. The boat would be a sailboat around 30 footlong. My main concerns are long term storage of food at sea and what to do with large containers of food once they have been opened. I have a few "Portable" trades that I could do from a boat or at port. One would be bicycle repair, another would be seated massage( I am a Certified Reflexologist and Relaxation Therapist). A few other trades I could set up is blade sharpening,knive trading,Electronic Technician, some handyman and cooking skills to round things out. Thanks for any assistance or thought you can add to this plan.
