Aside from a few timing issues when changing between sections, I thought it was a good tune. I particularly liked the distortion on the guitar; you got just the right edge. I agree that the solo sounds a bit dry for want of a better word- it's not a bad solo, I just think it could use a little delay to fatten the spund a bit.
I really liked the vocals as well- the captured a lot of energy, dispite being a little out of tune in places, but then it hardly seems to matter too much, and certanly dosn't detract too much from the song.
