Did you know, Pat Flamio is now PAID to do lunch duty. Anything for the kids, right Pat?

You don't need a Myspace address. Just log onto Mypace and search by name. Or you can Google search by name and the Myspace page comes up. Quite simple really!

It seems that the people running concerned parents have secrets other than their membership, secrets that they don't want anyone to know.

I think all is East Islip is crazy. The way things are today and from what you read in the paper even the teachers should be worried. Especially if the state steps in to negociate the school contracts. Look what they deem to be a cost of living raise for senior citizens. The 2.4% doesn't even cover the gas, never mind the cost of food, fuel, and LIPA surcharge. The state is talking givebacks and pay reduction from the unions. The schools won't be able to write checks without posting it on line. Well they asked for it, so now the fight is on. Sandman, we are mad as hell. You have to understand Flamio is a retard. Thats why he is allowed to say the word.

Sandman

 If you read his kids myspace, you will see that that family is full of problems. It makes you wonder about the whole concerned parent group. If he is their leader, what is that group really about? How does he have such pull with the school board? The community needs to look deeper into these relationships.

Hello all;

I still don't understand why no one else (other than me)is mad as heck that Pat Flamio, the teacher from Plainedge School District, uses the word "retarded" in a derogatory fashion.

Doesn't anyone feel that this is a terrible thing to do? Especially for a teacher.

Mostly teachers, union members, and bus drivers. You would think the teachers would know better. I thought union people were smart. I guess some people will say and do anything for money.

Are you telling me that Flamio and Concerned Parents are dishonest,deceptive, and hiding secrets? Who would have guessed that? How many people in this community blindly follow this loser without knowing anything about him?

"That means the school district allowed this misprint for 8 years."

At least 8 years. Apparently no scholarships or awards were given out from the time of the groups inception in 1989 until 1997. That's possibly another 8 years of deception.

I finally got the information on the scholarships from Concerned Parents. It appears in their 19 years of existence, they have only given out 20 scholarships in a 3 year time frame, from 1997-1999. That means the school district allowed this misprint for 8 years.

Smarty,

Why not ask Mark Hannigan to post that on his web site. You know how interested he is in helping this community.

Or, maybe he will just continue to tell people to just move out if they can't afford exorbitant taxes.

Received a letter from Sen. Trunzo stating the senate passed the bill for seniors on the enhanced senior star program will stay at whatever their school tax rate is at age 70. Now it has to go to the assembly. Please send a letter or email to your assemblyman. In East Islip its Boyle.

And don't forget to thank Mark Hannigan for encouraging the teacher's union to smear anyone who disagrees with their ruthless tactics.
