play some triva, It worked out well for a long time, I could love to see
it come back, i doubt it will, but thanks for you comment, Billy

Columbo//38664// I would say you done the smart thing,I was pre 1982, I did
not think it worth it, i choose to keep high life insurance, as i am not in the best of health, i also think i done the smart thing, want to protect my wife , I can collect SSI in Feb, I will be 62, I decided to take it at 62 before Obama changes it to 80, to pay for his healthcare plan,I won't make it,Lol, i am glad we can now have conversations like this
without the hatchets, you where right, I should have said Trick or Treat,
would have cut down on my injuries, LOL Billy

billy whit /m38658 Very funny. But, you should have said "trick or treat" instead of "healthcare plan". I just wanted to ask if you ever did check into buying your sub time back. I bought mine back and the 1982-1985 years bring me in around 3600 bucks a year. The other pre-1982 years only bring in around a thousand a year, but after 10 years it is all profit for me. I am pretty sure I did the smart thing by buy the time. Hopefully I will live over 10 more years.

To all, hey, I just got back from trick or treating, I had a really bad night, I was chased down one street by an angry mob with a rope, they kept
shouting lynch him ? on the next street i was hit in the right knee with a large rock from a slingshot, i rounded the corner and headed home, thats when i was hit 3 times times in the left rear-end cheek with a bb gun, the bill at local emergency room was 650 dollars, and my health insurance plan will only pay 35 dollars, a high price to pay for a peanut butter
cup and a stale pack of cupcakes, I guess its just the bad economey, or
maybe i made a big mistake using that Barrak Obama mask,?? lol Billy

I would have saved this for a saturday fun night, but i guess there gone
forever, Billy

Columbo//38654// I don't see the rurals ever getting the chance to go hourly, as they say i think its a day late and a dollar short? Over the years i have watched as the Postal Service dismantled the clerk union, then
the mail-handlers, and now the rural union, by the way i have always thought the rural carriers where the most productive Postal employee's,
they are making great progress in destroying the city carriers, as you said the postal Service need to have only non-union temp workers, they will
not survive otherwise, this is a shame, as it did not have to be this way,but it is the goal, and with the sad shape of our economy, ?? who will
stop them, ? I always got a kick out of the extensions the NRLCA signed
with the P.O. they just signed extensions of the last bad contract, and every line seemed to include//At the descreation of Mgt//????????? I am glad you and i have buried the //hatchet// instead of sticking it in each others head, I hope some day you and Fatboy will do the same, he is a good man and thinks along the same lines as us, I won't be staying on the board on a regular basis, but you and Fatboy could help a lot of carriers who
have no clue what is happening, Goodnight, Billy

billy whit /m38652 Trust me , Billy...I am and have always been for our craft. The rurals may go hourly one day, but I don't believe there is much hope for any of the crafts. Seems like management wants all non-union workers that will work for less pay and bennies. I am so disgusted with the po that I almost hate the entire organisation (spelling). The rules are NOT rules, unless the po wants them to be. Some are cut for breaking rules and others rewarded for breaking them. jmoho

fatboy /m38650 AT LEAST I CAN USE MY FINGER AND TURN OFF THE CAP LOCK. I SUPPOSE YOU CAN'T USE THE LITTLE KEYS, WITH THOSE LITTLE FAT FINGERS, HUH? THE LITTLE PINKY GOES DOWN AND HITS THE "SHIFT" KEY. SO SIMPLE.....EVEN A CAVE MAN COULD DO IT......BUT NOT LARD ASS.....ROFLMAO

Columbo//38647// You know when i first started posting on this board many
years agothings where much different, it started out as just an info board
among rural carriers, it went many places from there, most of them the wrong way, a lot of carriers where on board to express there opions on rural issues, Most of the carriers agreed that our NRLCA was doing a bad
job representing our craft. there was a move afoot to try to decerifly
the NRLCA, I was all for that, and spent many hours looking in on how to do
it,What i and others found out was that it was next to impossible, this is
when things really turned ugly on this board, the trolls appeared, and started posting as someone other than themselves, At one point i had so many people posting as me, I spent most of the time telling people //that
was not my post//thats where the blue star came in, but most trolls who
very very creative found a way around it, I was always one who supported
going houry for the rural craft, It will never happen now, but i think it
could have saved a lot of heartache for rural carriers if the NRLCA had
made it an issue when the Postal Service demanded reductions in the time
standards for rural counts, they still continue, I hope this post will tell
you something about me, there are a lot of rural carriers out there that need a little help , i hope this board can go back to help, i am retired,
and i really have had enough of the board, Billy
