I am a 27-year-old married stay-at-home mom of a 2 1/2 year old girl (whom I nursed for 18 months) with another on the way any day now. If you find yourself looking for a healthy alternative to formula, yet are unable to nurse due to medications, infection, low/no supply, etc., consider the possibility of an "absentee wet nurse!" If you would be interested in setting up an arrangement with me, feel free to email me in return. Perhaps if it's a long-term arrangement, we could work out a cost of service that is in everyone's best interest. Milk banks charge $3/ounce, are VERY restricted, and there are miles of red tape, prescriptions necessary, etc. to acquire it. I am asking $2/ounce, plus shipping costs if you are not local to me.

If you require, I have current medical records available showing that I am free of all diseases (I should know; they test for everything while you're pregnant!), I rarely allow myself even a Tylenol, and I had an extremely ample supply with my last baby. I do have a VERY occasional, small amount of caffeine, but I'm quite restricted about it on my own terms. And if necessary, that may also be modified to your preference. I take prenatal vitamins and iron supplements, and continue through breastfeeding. I received a seasonal flu shot a few weeks ago, and I intend to receive the H1N1 as soon as it is available to me. I take no prescription drugs of any kind, including birth control hormones. (I will be getting an IUD after this child is born.)

If you have a serious interest, please let me know. I will be nursing my own newborn with this same milk, so you know that it will be the best breast milk available!

Lactating mom in Eastern Iowa. I am currently breastfeeding my 4 1/2 month old son. I am making more milk than what he needs, so I would like to sell the extra breast milk.

I am a healthy 130 pound, 5’5”, 24 yr old, married, first time mommy. I am disease-free, non-smoker, no drugs, no alcohol. The only supplements I take are a woman’s once-a-day vitamin and tums once in a while for heartburn. I indulge in one caffeinated beverage per day. I am willing to get screening at buyers’ expense.

My son is 4 ½ months old and was at >97% for his height and weight at his 4 month check up. Obviously, I have good fatty milk.
 
I work in healthcare and have received my common flu and the H1N1 vaccines. I consulted my son’s pediatrician and she said that my body will produce the antibodies for these viruses for my son, who is too young for the vaccines.

Shipping at buyers’ expense. Fresh breastmilk for local pick up/drop off is available. I am selling the breastmilk at $2 per oz (+shipping). I typically have my milk frozen in 4-6 ounce bags.

SoCal. I just had a baby girl 3 weeks ago and she was very early so is in the NICU. She eats only an oz per feeding and I am pumping 4 oz per feeding so I have a lot of extra milk that will go to waste.
I am completely healthy and married, 25 year old. I have no std's, hiv, or any other illnesss. I also take prenatal vitamins, calcium, vitamin d, and iron pills every day. I have never had alcohol and have never smoked.

A little about me, I am a 22 year old first time mom of a 1 year old. I am drug and smoke free. I do have the ocassional glass of wine with dinner. I have no diseases and take only prenatals but sometimes forget to take it. I produce about 30-40 ounces a day and freeze almost all of it because my son is weaned to almost all whole milk. He only gets 5 ounces of breastmilk a day. I plan to pump for the next year or so. I ask $2 an ounce for frozen and $3 for fresh. Buyer pays all shipping costs. I just gave birth to my second baby this past Saturday, October 10th. I'm producing a lot more milk than she needs. I am a healthy 25 year old that does not smoke, take any drugs whatsoever (even over the counter), has not had an alcoholic drink since I got pregnant, and I'm completely staying away from caffeine. I am very clean and come from a pet free and smoke free home. I have continued to take my prenatal vitamins even after delivery and I'm also taking calcium pills twice a day.
