You are invited to join the Rector, Senior Warden, and others, who will travel to St Thomas Episcopal Church in Towson, this Thursday evening, Sept 7, to attend the Post General Convention meeting, from 7-9 pm.

Members of the Deputation from Maryland will be present at each of these meetings to offer reports, answer questions, engage in discussion, and listen to your responses, joys, concerns, hopes, and fears.

You may choose to simply come and listen, you may ask any question you want, and you may express any feelings or thoughts you have.

If you are interested in car pooling to St Thomas this Thursday, leave a message here with your email address, and whether you prefer to drive or ride or both.

Also, a reminder that "Naricyn Strings" is available for hire. They play classical, standards and holiday music. Kathryn Knaus(our daughter)plays viola and violin for them.

Here is another set of lectures: VA Theoligical Seminary's Alumni Convocation's Sprigg Lectures this year will be given on Oct 2 and 3 and are titled: "Religious Discourse in Our National Life as Perceived and Reported by the Media"
  
 Juan Williams will give the 1st - "Keep Your Eyes on the Prize: Faith" and Judy Woodruff the 2nd "An Update on the Role of Faith in the 2008 Election." Williams will speak at 3pm on the 2nd and Woodruff at 9:30 am on the 3rd. The lectures are free. Register at https://www.vts.edu/podium/default.aspx?t=36644&rid=559.
