Greetings All, I'm moving again just up the street into Catonsville. To avoid paying some very high fines, I need to find a new tenant for my current apartment in Ellicott City. If you know anyone moving into town, or a recent graduate who's ready to live on his/her own, this is a great place. Safe and within walking distance of shops and restaurants. Also St. John's is just around the corner.
800 sq. ft. one bedroom apartment with living room near Rt29/40. Newly renovated with new appliances, kitchen cabinets, lighting, and full-size washer and dryer. Within walking distance of several shopping centers and restaurants. Easy access to Rt 695 and right next to Historic District. Fitness center, Olympic-size pool available on apartment community grounds. Pets allowed for additional fee. Call Jacqueline at 410-203-0407. Rent = $1049/month + $350 security deposit.

Hi everyone! Is anyone planning to see "The Screwtape Letters"? Is there any interest in trying to get a block of tickets so we can go, or at least see it together? Or any interest in getting together over coffee/dessert sometime afterwards to discuss the play? If so, reply to me at eddieknits@gmail.com, or call me - I'm in the directory. Eddie Humphrey

Greetings All, I wish to thank the community of St. Marks for circulating the message of my need for moving assistance, and for bringing forward two wonderful people whose assistance with packing and moving made the whole process much less overwhelming. Thank you and God Bless.

Hello all,
As a former member of St Marks, not all of you may know me. To those that do, a heartfelt hello. As I am currently attending a church in Damascus, MD, a single mom at our church is to be evicted today. She and her 9th grade son. She is looking for a short and long term living situation for her and her son. Long term, she can afford about 500/month. As she lives in Laurel, St Marks is closer to her home. We are currently tapping into networks of people for assistance and I thought of you all. If anyone has any leads, please call me at 240 506 0776. Thanks in advance and God Bless! Clark

I am now working for 2 lovely Christian women who have a company called Lets Organize Lets Move. Their goal is to help folks organize their homes and/or manage a move. Many of their clients are "55 and better" and are downsizing and many other clients just want to get control over the clutter in their homes. If you have a need or know of someone who has a need feel free to contact me. Their website is www.LetsOrganizeLLC.com.

EVERYONE IS INVITED! SATURDAY, OCTOBER 6 (1:00-6:00PM) INSIDE-OUT CHRISTIAN MUSIC FESTIVAL - A CELEBRATION OF MUSIC AND MINISTRY I am part of a team of individuals from four churches in Howard County (Rockland UMC, Gary Memorial UMC, Crossroads - Church of the Nazarene, and yours truly from St. Marks Episcopal). We are calling the team and series of events INSIDE OUT. This group was formed to provide monthly Christian music events for the Howard County community. Our goal is to get church outside of the physical buildings and into the community. There are many ways to do this. We have chosen music. Mostly the events will be held at Rockland's outside amphitheater during good weather and at Nazarene when outside events don't make sense. We may have other hosts for events as well as needed. This is a cross congregational and cross denominational group of people that are committed to community outreach. The performers are excellent and most of them are part of the indieheaven.com musical community. We are committed to providing these events free of charge. No doubt that we will have concession stands and take up love offerings along the way but any funds that are derived from those sources will be used to defer the costs of putting on the event or sponsoring future events. We would love to see you, your families, your church and anyone else you know on October 6th for this event. It is 5 hours long so there is enough opportunity for folks to work part of it into their schedules. Also, as always, let us know if you or anyone you know would like to either participate in the INSIDE OUT series or play at the Rockland amphitheater for an event outside of the INSIDE OUT series. Both are open to all. Below are links to each of the performers. All but ASAPH have samples of music on these sites so you know what you are in for. 1:00pm - STRAIGHT ON RED ( http://www.notlaw.com/pages/straightonred.htm) 2:30pm - BEYOND THE VEIL ( http://www.beyondaveil.com/) 3:45pm - ASAPH ( http://www.realmwarriors.com/) 5:00pm - RIGHTEOUS SOUL ( http://www.myspace.com/righteoussoul) EVENT WEB SITE - http://cityonahillevents.com/COH/

Roxie's Progress (9/3/07):
The doctors say that she is progressing really well in her recovery. She is still tired and sleeps quite a bit, but she was sitting up for an hour and a half and is losing many of the tubes that they had in her. She is a few days "out of the woods" when it comes to one of the post op complications (something known as basal spasms), but is expected to be out of the critical care unit in a couple of days and couple be out of the hospital at the end of the week. We all appreciate you prayers and I will keep you informed as she progresses

I just want to say that this is great! I knew we had this, but the link right from the announcement page is awesome! Also, a reminder that "Naricyn Strings" is available for hire. They play classical, standards and holiday music. Kathryn Knaus(our daughter)plays viola and violin for them. See you in church!
