The person here (26731) with the insane and bizarre OBSESSION to keep talking about"CoopedUp" and "Carol Hubbard", whoever that is, is simply in a word, crazy. Ask yourselves, WHY would ANYONE be that interested in some old posters on this board and be so ridiculously invested in talking about what they do non-stop? Whoever that person is that's posting all that stuff is likely the same person who has driven everyone who USED to post on the Anderboards away. This person latches on to something and just goes on and on without any real facts. CoopedUp was merely another poster here, NEVER A MODERATOR. The nutty obsessed person who posts that CoopedUp goes all over the net talking about Anderson and Ben, is the same person who goes all over the net where there is a discussion about Anderson to talk about CoopedUp and no one on these other sites knows what the hell she's talking about nor do they care. This person is obsessed and beyond crazy when it comes to certain Anderfans and you'd all be better off to stop communicating with her/it. It is unfortunate that this site doesn't have a real moderator so that the person could be removed and wouldn't have this forum to pollute with her insanity and lies.

John King, Stone, Lemon and Roberts combined could never create/generate this much strangeness.

You have to wonder, with all the craziness surrounding Anderson, what do his co-workers think of him and all the craziness. Do hey probably make fun of him behind his back and are glad it isn't them?

what I can see media is pretty bitchy and backstabbing anyway, closeted or not, so I think any reason for "golden ones" to loose their shine is applauded, so others can start the climb up the ladder.

Its big money if you can get it, and some people will do whatever it takes to get it.

a little uncomfortable for anderson to have his life played out in the gossip columns and some of his colleagues and fellow media people, like perhaps Keith Olbermann, probably do a lot of snickering about the stuff out there on ac. the trip to india with all the talk of rose petals and bubble baths must've been a big topic of conversation for those in the media who think ac and cnn are jokes.

It amazed me how the India thing blew up, given how much others would also pay for their vacations. How often has he actually had vacation time in the last few years and not worked?

As for the bath and rose petals, well as I said not many other people generate this type of strangeness, people seem want to embelish small details.

practically demanded that ac admit to being gay in its articles about his relationship with ben, but nothing came of it. he's not going to be bullied or forced. i think he has a defiant streak and doesn't appreciate being told how to live his life. that type of thing only makes him dig in his heels even more. he's going to come out only when he's ready, if ever.

I think it reduces creditability; the sniff of a secret being kept is enough to cast doubt in the public eye. I think that could be more damaging than the truth, in some cases.

dig around in AC's personal life because he isn't open about it to the public. If that's why they do it they'd be all over people like Robin Roberts who is mum about her (lesbian) personal life while her straight co-hosts chat about their partners.

He's cute, dashing, has special shine on him as a Vanderbilt, and the rumors are his sex life is hot. All the major gossip blogs are run by gay guys who want to know for themselves and their readers all the details about who he's bedding and what they're doing in bed. If they had all their curiosity satisfied they'd probably back off from the digging, but he would have no news career left if he made so much sexual info available that he satisfied all their curiosity. The mainstream media generally take their cues from the gay media as to whose sexuality should be brought up, especially where it comes to people who aren't totally flaming or weird.

You have to be kidding. Polanski has never admitted to raping the girl (except in the sense that underage sex is statutory rape), he claims she was cool with it at the time which seems very unlikely.

Some people in the Hollywood community got behind him presumably because sexual exploitation isn't that uncommon in Hollywood, he's a great director, it sounded to some like the court proceedings might have been a little dodgy, the victim wants it to go away, and Polanski is a very charming little guy. A lot of the public are outraged at Polanski and want to see him punished in the worst ways.
