To a fellow Aquarian and one of my favorite people...AND singers! You sing from the heart and soul with such feeling....I'll never tire of listening to your music! As I have enjoyed various concerts of yours, I'm looking forward to seeing/listening to you at Silvermine. Luck with all your up-coming gigs - George Benson, Boston, New York - go git 'em Tiger!

I am new to this forum and wanted to share my experience in hearing Darryl sing for the very first time at Unity On The Bay church in Miami, FL..... What an experience! I enjoyed it so much that I want to hear more of his music. Definitely buying his CDs and looking forward to seeing him perform again soon!

Darryl, my condolences to you and your family on the loss of your father. He was a great man who positively influenced the lives of many students at FAMU and in Tallahassee. I am honored to have known him and I am glad I had the opportunity to speak with him at homecoming last year.
God bless you and your family.

Darryl:
My condolences to you and your family in the loss of your Dad. Not only was he a great man, but one of compassion and understanding. He will always be Uncle Tootie to me.
Hang in there and I remember that I am only a phone call away.
May God bless you and keep you:
Buck

Thank you for your kindness and support during this very difficult time. My father was a great man, who did whatever he could to help people who needed him. I am deeply moved by the many cards, emails, and calls that I have gotten from people who want me to know how much they loved the Coach.
I cannot thank you enough. We're going to really miss him.
God bless you. I love you.

Dear Darryl, I passed on information about your father's passing from the FAMU website to my sister, Marcie. She may have already spoken to you, but let me extend our regards and sympathies. I will always appreciate how he reached out to help Shaun. He was a great man and he will be missed. Always, Morris

Darryl, I hope that you and Tootie II and family are doing ok, I know how much love that the Tookes men had along with the understanding that you had for each other. I still can't get over the children and how they have grown, I loved seeing the interaction between them, you, Hansel II and Hansel III. It does not seem that along ago that were were going to each other's house, playing ball on "Tookes Court" and playing music togeather. The bond and friendship that our parents had, the memories of College Terrace and Tallahassee will live forever. Merry Christmas to you, Donna and the children. Leonard Bruton
