so i called the volunteer center. they gave us like three options for such sort notice
theres a soup kitchen in watsonville that we could do tomorrow from 8 30 to 12 30
also, there is the st. francis soup kitchen, yet they are only open on the weekdays so we would have to miss class cause they are open from 9 to 1 30
lastly, there is save our shore the lady i talked semed quite nice and she said she was going to call me back so im still waiting

Surfrider got back to me. I guess they did a bunch od cleanups before the 4th of July? It makes zero sense to me why they'd do it beforehand when they know they're gopnna just get messed up again.......

-heh, so i struck out with earthfirst; they're closed for the time being. to be honest, the only thing i saw that we could possibly have done for them is sit up in some trees in lompico sooooooo.......yeah.

-the arboritum has an event coming up that they said they needed seom help with but they've lagged getting back to me on exactly what they need us to do.
