I was just wanting to say hi, so hi! I miss you both lots and hopefully I'll be able to see you soon. I think I mentioned to you that I was trying to come to Japan for Christmas, well I actually can now. So I'll be there from the 16th (I get in that morning) and will be leaving on the 27th. I'm really hoping I'll get to see you two while I'm there, that would be so awesome! Also, I was wondering if there was a YG meeting while I was there because I miss it tons and am really wanting to go again! This is great! I have not been able to open the last couple emails that you have sent--I am not sure why? But the schools system is sometimes very touchy--then I tried to forward home to my personal computer but no luck either.

Always love hearing from the two of you an seeing how wonderful you are doing. God is truly using you lives for a purpose in Japan. Were you ever able to connect with Trisha Woods or Heidi Forrister when they were in Japan? Trisha returned after Christmas I knw but not Heidi. Trisha is teaching English I understand.

School keeps me very busy and I wait for the day Katie when you return and then you come into my classroom and do your final student teaching.
I am also thinking about returning to school and I would like to become a principal. Wow! yes I have thought of this before but I just became ignited during the holiday break to go forth in this adventure. Silly women that I am. John is always so very supportive and that is why I can do what I do.

Wow, the birthday and the anniversary!! Hard to think about you and Chelsea growing up and being wives etc. Chelsea is very happy--if I can figure a way to email her photos from wedding I will?? I am not that great yet on the tech part of sending--maybe I should go back to school for that. She was absoultely beautiful in her red wedding gown! I wish you could have had timelines work to have made it. anyhow she is truly happy and Scott is a wonderful daddy! Jocelyn is growing up so fast and will be 4 on March 22nd!! yes! Peyton will be 4 on Feb 23 and Danielle's baby will be 2 yrs old April 11th. Life is full and wonderful!!

The kids all attend church with us at Hillcrest Fellowship in Mt. Vernon across from the park. We have wonderful Sundays together. Garrett and his bride, Stacie meet up with us once in awhile--they live in north Everett.

Don't know if you remember, but I've been living in NZ for the last year now and summer's just starting to crank up-- i love it!!! CONGRATS to you both. i did a double take sitting in my Vancouver BC condo when Doug called me from an UNAVAILABLE number. I am sooo glad I answered. Hungover & on 2 hours of sleep I hear... "I am pregnant." All I could say is wow Doug you are pregnant, that is amazing. Then I woke up & realized.. tee hee he meant you Katie. Hahaha!!

Anyway we are so excited for you guys! Enjoy every moment of it. Keep us posted!

Congratulations a boy, I like the name. Aug.11th is good day that is my birthday. But I not telling how old I'm getting! I noticed Aug 2nd was a wanted date, not to bad, that's our anniversary. Thankyou for the encouragement to set me back on track with God, I know I was kind of... I guess I forgot to look at my map to see where to go. I hadn't read my Bible since I moved, until you talked to me about "getting back on track", at youth group that night. Now, I am going to Youth Group more, at Yokosuka, and the Ikego Youth Group will be starting up again soon. VBS is a blast(so far), And after we're done with VBS each day, Nate has this "servants first" Class, which shows us examples (like David, and Saul/Paul)of how to be good servants torward God. It's pretty cool.

Dante and I would like to congratulate the two of you on the beautiful arrival of Gavin. He is a wonderful, healthy blessing for you. I have really enjoyed looking through your pics and even though you two are so far away reading all about your thoughts and joys really helps me feel connected. I'm sure you've heard that Dante and I are expecting our first child in March, look at the trend you've started! I am currently working as a pediatric physical therapist and just wanted to back up the knowledge that the two of you already have....club foot is very easily treated with excellent success and you won't be able to tell a difference between those cute little tooties when he gets older. Congratulations again!!

Hello and congratulations on the birth a beautiful and happy looking little boy. We are cousins of Elaine Collins (Upshaw) We have never met but she forwarded your latest letter regarding Gavins operation.

Have faith in your doctors, I have seen what they can do with these little ones and it is akin to a miracle sometimes. A dear friend of ours had premie twins and they went through a lot but are fine an healthy now and growing toward their 2nd birthday. This too will pass. Be of good cheer and have a wonderful life. Praise God! I am so happy to hear that everything went well for Gavin,and for you guys!God is awesome all the time. This past Sunday in church I heard something said that will forever stick with me. It was said that all that gods promises and miracles that are in the bible, a lot of the time we think of it as though it were a million years ago. But truth be told that a million years is like one day to God. All those promises we read about, we to have the same ability to obtain them , right now. I hope this makes sense when you read it. lol . But to think that in Gods eyes he preformed those miracles just yesterday, makes it so I am able to accept the fact that he can and will do miracles in my life as well as yours. I thought it was awesome to hear that. Praise God!

Hey! It's great to hear from you guys! Little Gavin is sooo adorable!
Well, there's been a change of plans in the Nefcy household. Our plan was to stay in Traverse City, but now....we're moving again. I'm kinda bummed. But when we look back, it seems like all the signs are pointing to Utah (our new place!) and everything seemed to fit into place. So yeah, I'm sad about it, but it is easier to deal with because I'm accepting God's plan, and I know he has something amazing in store for me and my family in Utah!!!

Congratulations you guys! You are amazing. I am so blessed to read your site and all the happenings that are occuring there. So much to tell about our past year also. But no news like your news. Abram is starting to help with youth again he loved it when he was in Japan but stopped when we had the twins and now things are not as crazy or at least they are crazy in a different way now so he can go and fill his purpose. As for me I am joining our worship team. I am excited about that. It has alwasy been a calling for me and I too am now at a point that I can go and fulfill my calling. Happy Valentines day to you guys! Do you know how long it's been since I talked to your mom? I think this has been the longest stretch in my life. I need to call her.

Did you know your K cousin Kyle is in the Marine Corps now? He graduated PFC from boot as 1st Squad leader and just completed combat training. He's in Virginia at the Armed Forces School of Music. Also, K cousin Katie is getting married. She met a drummer boy at church in California and set the date for Aug 15th.

So........what's the news?? The last update on the site is December 6. I think something has happend since then. wink wink

Jonathan and I just sat and watched the video of Gavin hiding and laughing in the cupboard and Jonathan just kept giggling about it! He loves to hide & be found as well! Crazy 18 month old babies!! Hope you are well and taking it easy before baby comes. Call me soon.. I am always home! Love you!!
