Hey Bill, I'm bringing my cyclocross 'project' bike...we'll see how that goes. I think a couple of the guys coming with me are riding theirs as well. Chris

Dave Whitt, Are you still going to do the assault on whitetop? If so I plan on coming. Cyclocross or mountain bike?

I'm back in the saddle after long and debilitating illness....my spirits high, my endurance low...
Lee, does the creeper trail ride require a "comfort bike", daisy's on our helmets and a ringer bell for crossing state highway's?
I don't want to show up on my long travel Yeti an feel out of place :)

The assault takes me about 4 hours to the summit and of course the ride back is a little faster. It would be safe to say the round trip takes about 6 1/2-7 hours.
