No response from regional Gonzales as to why a clerk from Pocatello (not closing in immediate future) was allowed to retain her seniority in Boise and bid right away.

5341 M.Smith. Pses are not limited to hours normally they are to work less than 40 however they can work more than 8 in a day provided all regular clerks onthe OTDL have the opportunity for the overtime first. Pses get flsa OT after 40 hours. Before they get hours past their tour ptfs if any get the hours first as not to be to thei r detriment. Yes Pses can and do get OT and more than 8 hours in a day but available OTDL clerks working the same hours get the OT first even if the pse is not yet on OT.

5334t1 confusedntft: NTFTes have a bid they cannot change it. If they do it must be reposted! Any hours out of your bid must be outofscheduled premium up to your 40th hour of work past that it is overtime and penalty time rules do apply. Contact your steward, chief steward, clerk craft director, vice president and president. Do not sign a change of schedule it is not for their convenience! If they don't help call your NBA. IF YOU ARE NOT ON THE OTDL THEY MUST CALL EVERYONE IN THE BUILDING ON THE OTDL THAT IS QUALIFIED TO DO THE WORK BEFORE A NON-OTDL NTFTE!!!

5337 CONFUSEDNTFT: They are only to work non-OTDL NTFTES IN AN EMERGENCY. REGULAR USE OUT OF SCHEDULE REQUIRES THE BID TO BE REPOSTED!!!! maybe even creating FT bids!!! Cal your union headquarters immediately!!!

Question: If you are a 6 day ntft and work 5 days out of schedule on the fitth day does it become penalty? Or does it need to be all 6 days? We have 5 day and 6 day ntft in our office I know as a 5 day ntft if they require me to work out of schedule for 5 days on the fifth day all the oos is penalty. How does it work with a 6 day clerk. Next week all 3 of the 6 day clerks are working oos for 5 days each. Thanks for any input.

While we are sorting mail, the postmaster answers her cell phone and those present get to hear every word of her personal conversation. She stays on the cell phone as she is sorting mail (using one hand). NOW, if I did that, I wonder what she would say ?? Sometimes the conversation lasts for about ten minutes. If myself and/or other co workers begin a conversation about THE MAIL, she will talk louder so that we don't miss a word of her conversation. UGH...Any thoughts ?
