I'm a level 7 clerk in the Cincinnati district, they took the machines out of my small office and I was left unasigned. There were 5 clerks under me but I was excessed out. Luckly only 14 miles away into a BMEU clerk job in yet another small office. Sometimes it works out but most of those being excessed are not as fortunate. I understand that in south florida, like Ft Myers they are walking them out. Those who can't get a clean bill of health are being forced out on comp. I can see this happening all over. Carriers doing modified clerk work, light duty clerks/carriers anyone who can't work at full potential are out the door.
