Our school just secured a document camera and projector for use by our middle school math teacher... he and I brainstormed a few ideas on it use: 1) Project the graphing calculator so everyone can see the keys to press when learning new functions. 2) Showing homework (rather toshiba satellite-1100 battery, toshiba satellite-1110 battery, toshiba pa3399u-1bas battery than having students write solutions on the board). 3) Demonstrating use of protractors (etc.). 4) Showing how to use manipulatives. Anyone else have ideas that I can share with my colleague? | | |

Does the lack of reponse to the posts in April indicate this has died. I'm in a similar situation to Frankz now and would like to know is this architectural approach still in consideration or were any major showstoppers found with it? thanks

Hello,
I'm in the same situation than Frankz. Is there some activity around this proposal ?

Is this project still alive? How about the timeline for the 1.0 Release, is it still valid? Are there any pre-1.0 resources to use or to test? I think it's long time since we've heard any news.
The architecture sounds promising, so I need to now if there is any further progress because I am in charge of designing a new application and this could be interesting.

Hi,
this really looks great. Thank you for developing this!
I have only one suggestion: Why is download file only in whole 250MB zip in repo? Is it problem to give there more packaging solution, e.g. eclipse.zip, workspace.zip. I am using linux and I have eclipse, so I do not need some parts. Now I have to wait about 10 hrs (yes, only 7KB/s) for downloading not really needed staff.

Fix for Server Configuration For some reason, Eclipse did not like the Server configuration that came with the rsp03.zip. What I did to get around this issue was to create a new directory at C:\rsp03\workspace\Servers\Tomcat and copy the files in
"C:\rsp03\workspace\Servers\Tomcat v5.5 Server @ localhost-config"
to "C:\rsp03\workspace\Servers\Tomcat". Then I launched Eclipse, refreshed the Server project and changed the configuration path from
Tomcat v5.5 Server @ localhost-config to Tomcat. Then the server started without issues. Not sure why this fixed it but it could have something to do with the @ or the whitespace in the directory name.
