Darkrose, I agree what Handling It and what Me says. Grieve it, ask your supervisor to call injury comp and ask them about a job offer for a approved injury claim. Hopefully there is some kind of work there that you can do within your limitations. Did you talk to your shop steward again or your local union President? This suspension of 14 days should be grieved. You have your Maggie Moore rights make sure you point this out to your supervisor. I know injury comp wants you to have a job offer that fits your limitation before going back to work, at least that has been my experience in the S.F. district.

john: thanks. i want you to know that by your saying that, i went and read over the sa paperwork one more time. guess what? their doc upped the foot from 10 to 12%. he then writes 5% PPI (L)LE, 5%+12% combine=16%PPI(R)LE. so that equals 21%, correct? they did it wrong. they just picked up the 16 for the RLE. yippee. i found their error...

Me, I would contact your union Human relation director, and ask them what you should be doing, It may take an EEO. Wish you the best.

Handling It & CDoane...thanks for info and i did this.. i won numerous grievances that say my average hrs are more.. my pay-stubs show more...po is using some sheet of paper that says my hours are less... eicpas??? it's called a "injury compensation performance anaylisis" anyone hear of this??? i wrote OWCP and they sent a letter EN1030 to po injury comp telling them that seeing i am a part time worker (ptf) the OWCP states, please provide the actual earnings of another employee (same kind of job) the employee should be the one working the greatest of hours during the yr immediately prior to the date of injury.. OWCP to be fair and reasonable (if you are part time) goes by the employee working the greatest # of hours of all ptf's.. i beleive this is to avoid if po discriminated against another ptf and gave them less hours.. po is not sending this info to OWCP and is sticking with the less hours and just plain refusing to budge.. po has this sheet which looks like a sheet that is on a computer that anybody could just fill in what they want..

john king..10448..i knew there was something to all this.. with your statement now i understand.. with the stress i was out for 6 weeks.. went back.. 2 years later i got claim accepted.. next day i get a letter from po injury comp saying i had to get a ca-17 filled out within 14 days.. i thought they meant for the disc claim so i got ca-17 filled out for that.. po injury comp probably meant for the stress???? And if my dr stated i shouldn't be working at the po, po could have fought me on it.. and i would have had to file a new claim? make sense? i did file a new stress claim and this one is in the process now....

I think they do want you to forget the accepted stress claim. If you went out now you would probably have to file a new CA-2 or a CA-2a.
