carrier, thanks for the answer. I'm not surprised. Sounds like not much has changed, except maybe for the worse. I wish all you carriers well. You guys are the back bone of the USPS.

old clerk oh yeah FSS will have a huge impact. It won't be the quality product they say it is and we'll have to make that mess work. It rolls down hill and carriers are the bottom rung. It'll be worth almost nothing piece-count-wise for a rural carrier and we'll all be pressured and harrassed all the time about our hours. We won't be able to meet their artificial delivery windows because they always cheat our evaluations. It's getting ugly right now with all the micromanaging in many rural worlds and the freight train is just cruising right now. But management knows all and our Union will protect us. yeah right

It's equivalent to DPS for flats. It's expected by the USPS to have a big impact.

I was never a carrier, and I have a question if anyone would care to answer. I have been reading a lot about the FSS machines. And I've been reading a lot of comments about how these machines would adversely affect carrier jobs, and cause carriers to be excessed. I suppose the FSS stands for flat sequencing system? I've been out of the loop for a few years and was just curious about this. Are these machines REALLY going to have that much of an impact? THANKS for your response.

Why is everyone so quiet? Even a Priest can do it. Don't be so shocked that a dear Postmaster joined the ranks of this nations finest.

We Postmasters have a "HARD" enough job handling you carriers. Im sure this was a misunderstanding. Hey Flakey don't you remember (deny, deny, deny). I haven't seen Mgr. Panic for awhile, maybe he is doing the same thing. Flakey if this is true, you will need a few new fantasies. (Come here Bubba)

Flakey postmaster charged with soliciting 3 girls, 2 women and 1 man for sex, drugs

Flakey Arrest Affadavit

Prosecution By Hasty Hordan and Mambala Layman
OF THE BONEING CALL, October 22, 2009

As the Flakey postmaster drove around checking collection boxes Tuesday afternoon, he was also looking for sex and propositioned two women, one man and tried to lure three girls into his car, he allegedly told police.

Flakey Scholegel, 53, of 6969 Robbers Road in Banghor Township was charged Tuesday afternoon after the women and girls -- ages 12, 13, and 17 -- reported the incident.

Police said Flakey Scholegel told them he spoke with women on the street and said ''he was looking to have sex'' as he checked mail collection boxes.

Scholegel is charged with luring a child into a vehicle and harassment. He was committed to Northumpthem County Prison under $50,000 bail.

Scholegel has served as Banghor's postmaster since 2004, according to the U.S. Postal Service Web site. He has also worked at post offices in Hazareth, Withall Township, Foeplay and Knutport. The post office honored Scholegel in 2005 with an award for heroism after he aided a car hit by a boy outside the post office on Route 691.

A representative with the U.S. Postal Service could not be reached for comment Wednesday.

In November 2008, Colon Regional police charged Scholegel with drunken driving. In June, Scholegel entered a program for first-time offenders.

According to court records:

Around 4:10 p.m., the girls told police, they were walking down N. Main Street when an older man wearing sunglasses drove past them waving and honking his horn. A witness told police he saw Scholegel pull up to the girls and showed something to them, and the girls immediately backed away.

One of the girls told police the man, later identified as Scholegel, had tried to get inside her last month.

The girls were able to give police the car's license plate number.

Around the same time, according to the records, Scholegel tried to get two women and one man into his car and asked them if they had any ''crack or dope.''

The first woman told police she was on the porch of her home when Scholegel drove by twice, repeatedly asking her to go down. She told her boyfriend, who spotted the car nearby.

Another man asked Scholegel what he wanted and Scholegel said, ''I want you too,'' and drove away.

The second woman said Scholegel stopped her at S. Main Street and Broadway,

etour /m2900 -- from that report:

The COR system was implemented in October 2005 and contains a carrier routing and travel optimization program used to configure compact, contiguous, safe, and efficient city carrier routes. This routing software uses specifically designed algorithms to reduce unnecessary travel and optimize park points and relays on city carrier delivery routes.

LOL!
