Spelling Bee, No comprendo!! It's just a name for crying out loud. Do you know what finesse is? Well, I don't have very much of it.

Mgt can put as many scans on a route as they wish. In our office the standard number was 7, (hot case, depart to rte, 1st delivery, last delivery before lunch, 1st delivery after lunch, last delivery of the day, and return to office)but many routes have more than that. If you feel you have too many scans, ask your supv what's up? I was on a route last week that had tons of scans only to see that half of them were for another route that USED to cover that area. Just stopped scanning them, no problem. Mgt doesn't have the time, apparently, to take down old MSP labels.
If you had a scan point at every house, the only problem would be that Mgt is adding to your paycheck by requiring you to take the time to scan them.

Can anyone tell me, how many MSP scan point can the post office put on a route? 9 on the street? 3 in the office? It seems to me that the post office putting more & more of those sticker on the street so they can better monitor the carrier. I have a MSP scan point on almost every swing. Is that violation of the contract?

No Pay- Your carrier out of leave can ask for leave donations as well, if she is out of SL and AL.

Yes that is true. They will either recupe it when you come back or bill you for the premiums quarterly. Have you thought about applying to the postmaster for an advance on your sick leave? Have her try that also if she wants, she can apply for 240 hours advance.

Howdy Everyone!

We have an employee in our office that is pregant with twins. The Doc told her she could not work anymore. She still has to Jan Before the kids are born. Her problems is she used her leave for everything. She is a regular employee so she will not be earning anymore A/L this year. So she is soon to be out of leave which means LWOP. She was told that If she was given LWOP that the Postal Service will still pay her Insurance Premium and then recoop it back when she comes back to work. Any truth to this? If so is it automatic? Thanks in advance for all your wisdom

You don't, Billy, but it helps your credibility. If you can't spell or write properly, it could be expected that you couldn't comprehend the postings either. By the way, Geno's is o.k., but Pat's is better! Easier to eat with my upper plate!

I agree with billy. Management is the problem here. At our station the Post Master always sends out stamps by mail envelops for us to take out on our entire route or dog information cards she makes up locally or something on the day before a holiday. Just to be mean or because she knows the carriers will run and get it done in 8 hours. Why jump on the fellow carriers here?

No need to be mean to someone because they do not have great writing skills...

Wow! Just read(maybe I should just say, I attempted to read, since it would be nearly impossible for anyone to comprehend exactly what he was saying) the post drafted by "Billy from Philly".. Seriously, this is the image you want representing Letter Carriers to the public? I understand this is America and we all have the right to free speech... but... I guess Billy proves we all don't have access to intelligent speech.
