cityptf /m2957 Maybe it was his way of saying that you're a slow poke.

/m2957 A supervisor should not be having physical contact with a subordinate. If a supervisor were to "poke" me, I would certainly take them to task over it and call my steward over. There is no need to touch someone to get their attention in the work setting.

if it is my day off, is it my responsibility to tell the supervisor that if he gives me a handoff, i will get getting penalty?

Anyone else get GPS in their mail trucks? We have it now in Smithtown Long Island, 11788.Best part is its only in 11 trucks and they wont tell us which ones and they say they are going to rotate them so they can spy on all of us at some point. We were told we dont need to know who has them.Does this sound right? Shouldnt we be able to know when its in our truck? They are always slimey and decietful here in our district.Believe nothing they tell you.

mailman /m2963 -- Here is a video on installing the GPS in LLVs:

Look under the dashboard, up above the steering wheel. Look for green LEDs.

Yes they have to tell you it's in the truck. Get on your union to make them tell you. Also if you have an AM radio you will get interference static with GPS in truck.

we were instructed not to tell anyone about those.. they can only track them at the main plant, us managers have no control over this at the station level.

mailman /m2967 -- yeah, I tried the link again and it doesn't work. I went to YouTube and searched for it and couldn't find it. I suspect that the USPS had it removed. Paranoid.

Try these:

http://www.gpsfleetsolutions.com/GPS_Tracking_M3G-2.php

Click on "Hardware"; the unit looks like the one I saw in the Youtube video, and the video said something about "the Marcus box", so I think this or something similar is probably what they are installing.

http://www.discretewireless.com/

If you click on "ROI" (Return on Investment), you will find that they cost $29.95 a month each for the service. The calculation requires that you input a number of hours per week saved, but what if that is "zero"? LOL!

Seems like we are spinning our wheels. Everybody is uptight about the new contract coming up. Why? USPS never honored any of the old ones. I am a union guy but I tell ya, the union had better get tough or screw them. Either go by the contract or or strike them bastards. If they don't abide by the contract does that negate all agreements? Enough is enough. I don't even get enough office time to do my job properly. They don't care what I leave behind just so long as I make my time. Customer suffers again. Toughen up union or screw you!!!

Need pictures of your hands! We are doing a video to expose the dept of labor for denying 50% of our carpal tunnel claims. It will be on youtube with your help. They can be artistically taken or in positions of stress as in doing your jobs. Scarred and cracked, bleeding and ashy, the poor hands we have after years paying it forward. Please send to pfmorris58@hotmail.com It is going to be an emotionally moving and meaningful video with your help.
