Wow guys.....once you get past the shock of the names involved and just look at the seasons each player has had so far, it doesn't look like an awful trade. And I appreciate two teams trying to have some fun and maybe better their teams in the process. So kudos to Greg and Lee.

Is the trade between Savage Beast and Crippled Crows official?? Its definetly interesting or should I say desperaretly interesting.......
It appears Crippled Crows got the best of the deal, or did they?? I wouldn't be surpriced if Beltre and Guillen both get traded. Only time will tell who got the better deal, my guess is Lee did.....

Yeah it's official. I was looking to dump Richmond and I think Bailey has a chance to be a solid closer for a long time (assuming the A's give him chances). Also, being my first year in the league I was not expecting to compete for a championship and was looking to build for future years. Guillen and Beltre were both C status players and I received one solid and one ok young player in return.

Looking at it from 2010, I gave up nothing and rec'd two keepers.

I could also see Beltre being traded at the deadline to a contender if the M's are not in the running (being it's a contract year for him)

Crippled Crows has waived Bartolo Colon. I'll make the corrections when I get the chance.

Guillen, Hamilton, Richmond, Devine FOR Konerko and Hernandez

     Guillen is an injured veteran who is at the END of his career, Hamilton is a one year wonder ( drug addict ) who is on the shelf for the next 8 weeks or more or more or more. Richmond is a 30 year old rookie who has done nothing. Devine, can you say Zumaya, does anyone realy believe he will be back next season. Sorry Jay, you lost big-time with this trade. King Felix is back and your going to wish you kept him. Im not a fan of Konerko, BUT........ Also, me releasing Sizemore didn't interest you ???
